Hotel Restaurant du Bowling de Millau

We knew this place would be basic but it was last minute for just one night so weren’t too worried. The room we were given was ground floor to the rear with no window and a door which opened onto a car park. It was warm in the night and impossible to sleep due to lack of air, the air conditioning unit works but was noisy… Bed was clean and comfortable but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We stayed here en route to Spain and also to take in the beautiful mountain scenery and of course the breathtaking Millau Viaduct. Although it does look much from the outside, looks can be deceptive. After a warm welcome the rooms are clean, air condition and the bed is comfortable. I recommend you take advantage of the breakfast when you check-in. Only warning is don't make the same mistake as us and get here to early as check-in does not open until 5pm CET. Overall a great place to stay if your in transit or just staying for a couple of nights.

If ant invested rooms with no windows are your thing then be sure to stay here. The rooms are dark, cramped and home to lots of flying ants. The beds are uncomfortable and sheets unclean. Don’t expect a travel cot or extra bedding and if you use the restaurant you will be changing your baby on a changing mat plonked on top of a snooker table. On the plus side, the staff are friendly and the on-site bowling was fun for the whole family.

This is the third time I have stayed here Oct 22 Nov 22 April 23 it is absolutely perfect stop on way to Spain clean Rooms good price excellent bar staff very friendly even put the football on the big screen excellent food great value recommend to anyone Thank you another good night stop over will definitely be back

We booked this hotel for an overnight stay and to charge our car on our way to Spain as it says on their website that they have car charging facilities. Unfortunately these turn out to be domestic plugs placed outside. As our car charging cable obviously does not fit on a domestic plug we asked if the hotel had a converter cable. The girl behind reception had no idea and promised to ask and get back to us. She never did. Reception is in a bowling/ entertainment centre in the building next to the hotel. Our room was on the ground floor very cramped with 4 beds in it and no window. The bathroom was huge in comparison. The next morning we had cold showers as there was no hot water. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for charging your car (unless you have a domestic cable) or stay overnight as there are much nicer options in the area.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés une nuit pour se reposer et nous avons apprécié ! La gentillesse du personnel, le menu du restaurant, la chambre... Bref tout. Le literie est excellente ! Nous vous le recommandons sans problème

Suite à un problème de voiture nous n'avons pu honorer de notre présence le fameux Hôtel Bowling de Millau ; réservation faite le 13 juillet pour le 18. Nous n'avons pu prévenir ce cher Monsieur Gaillard qu'au moment de notre souci. M. Gaillard nous a fait une proposition au téléphone à la condition de lui faire parvenir un courriel pour confirmer notre accord, ce que nous avons fait, voici sa réponse : Nous avons 2 tarifs. Le moins cher est non remboursable, non modifiable non échangeable et n'est pas remboursé quelle qu'en soit la raison. C'est pour cela qu'il est moins cher. Le second tarif est modifiable et bénéficie d'une annulation gratuite jusqu'à 24 heures avant la date d'arrivée. Dans votre cas, la réservation était due car annulée le jour même. Deuxième réponse suite à nouveau courriel : Comme vous l'avez bien lu "l'hotelier ne vous remboursera pas" et comme déjà annoncé toutes les réservations sont avec annulation gratuites jusqu'à 24 heures avant l'arrivée. Sauf que vous vous avez choisi le tarif non remboursable qui comme son nom l'indique n'est pas remboursable. Vous pouvez vdemandé à votre assureur de vous rembourser. Voici ma réponse : Il me semble que vous n’avez pas lu vos propres CGV ni ce que je vous ai écrit. La phrase que vous reprenez n’est pas complète car il s’agit bien des arrhes et non de la totalité du séjour ; Nous ne vous avons versé aucun arrhes. De plus vous indiquez que nous avons “choisi“ le tarif non remboursé… Nous n’avons rien choisi, vous nous avez indiqué un prix, c’est tout. Rien n'est indiqué nulle part et rien n'a été dit au téléphone… Les CGV du site de l'hôtel indiquent que nous avons 14 jours pour nous rétracter puisque commande réalisée par téléphone. Le site du gouvernement nous indique aussi que seuls les arrhes ne peuvent être remboursés ; nous avons été débités de la somme totale du séjour. Donc, petit conseil ; évitez de tomber en panne si vous allez chez ce Monsieur.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit. Tout était parfait de l'accueil au petit déjeuner. Très bon repas le soir. Personnel très agréable et sympathique. Repas copieux ainsi que le petit déjeuner. Merci pour le petit digestif. Très bonne literie. Michelle et Jean Pierre Cordat

Demi pension 59€ avec nuitée, menu du soir (entrée/Plat/dessert/fromage​, vin et café) + petit déjeuner. Ambiance conviviale, chambre propre pour ma part, bon accueil. Chichiteux s'abstenir, à la bonne franquette pour le repas du soir dans une grande salle avec TV.
