My family recently stayed here in Room 311. We checked in around 7:20pm with a 5 year old and a 10 month old, ready to get the kids to bed. The person that checked us in was nice. When we arrived at our room, the keys did not work. I went right back down and no one was at the desk, a sign said "I am helping a guest, I will be back in 5 minutes. I waited 5 minutes, and no one arrived, I waited an additional 3. I decided to call the front desk, there was someone else available. As the phone is ringing, the original person comes in apologizing, smelling of smoke. I am speculating, but it seems she was on a smoke break. She re-codes the keys and I can get in the room. After we entered the room, we opened the pull-out bed, and there were not sheets. We opened the closet and took out the bag of pillows and what appeared to be sheets. There was a coat in the closet left by the last guest. My wife brought it down to the front desk. On further inspection, there were no sheets in the bag for the pull out. I called housekeeping and the front desk answered. I shared, that we did not have sheets for the pull out. She made a huffing noise and said housekeeping will be up soon with sheets. I then looked at the main bed, and the sheets were dirty. I had to call housekeeping again and the front desk answered. I explained that the main bed sheets were visibly dirty, and she made another exasperated huffing sound. And said, “I will have housekeeping come up with sheets, I can also offer you a discount on your stay”. I said, “That is fine, thank you, but what I really want is clean sheets”. She huffed again. Housekeeping arrived after 30 minutes and changed the main bed sheets and put sheets on the pull out. We were able to start getting our kids to be around 8:20. The next morning, we noticed we only had 2 bath towels for 4 people. We made it work. No problem, I will just ask for some at the front desk when we leave in the afternoon. My daughter and I used the pool. There were no pool towels available, again, not a problem we can just use our bath towels since I will get some later. We left the hotel around 1:30, I spoke with a new person at the front desk. “Hi, we only had two bath towels and are completely out, would someone be able to leave some towels for us, we are leaving for the afternoon.” The person at the desk assured me “As long as you do not have the do not disturb sign on your door, housekeeping will be up to service the room. But I made a note to make sure you have towels.” We came back to the room at around 7pm. No one had serviced the room, and no one had dropped off towels. It was already late, so I was not going to wait 30 minutes for towels as again, I had 2 young children I wanted to put to bed. All four of us now re-used the towels from the day before. I have never had a problem with other Holiday Inn Express hotels. I understand the product and service I am getting. All I want is a clean room, clean sheets and clean towels. I would rather you
