Viscay Hotel

Viscay hotel sits at the corner of Collins and 10th street and is one of the more utilitarian budding in the art deco district. It is (relatively) inexpensive and fairly basic because of that but is still clean and comfortable with friendly staff (thank you Luis for all of your helpful advice) and I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget who doesn’t mind being right in the thick of the hustle and bustle of South Beach. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a good shower and bathroom and small kitchenette, ideal. Be aware there is no bar in the hotel and didn’t seem to offer a breakfast although this was mentioned on the blurb when we booked it. This was really no concern to us as we always breakfasted at a small family run bakers just around the corner, but just worth noting. With that in mind, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the area, it is extremely noisy until the small hours, especially at the weekend and if you are accommodated at the front of the hotel, offers little in the way of sound insulation. Being in our fifties, and first time visitors to Miami, this did catch us out and the first night was spent wondering if the whole of Collins Avenue was in our room with us. The farther up South you go the quieter it seems to get so we will probably aim for there next time. We found Miami fairly expensive so the only saved on the accommodation was a godsend, thank you The Viscay and I have no reservations about recommending this hotel.

Este hotel es verdaderamente una joyita,está situado en el corazón de Miami beach, nos atendieron súper súper bien ,la estructura es súper cómoda única peca para mi es la falta de ascensore al menos para si estás en el segundo piso subir las malestas ,por lo demás que decir recomiendo al 200 por ciento

Hotel pequeno e bem antigo, sem elevador ou rampa, quartos também antigos, com um pequenissimo frigobar e microondas, serviço de quarto a desejar. Como pontos positivos, a recepcionista Laura, sempre gentil e simpática, e a proximidade da Ocean Drive - um quarteirão da parte mais badalada. Não vale o que cobra.

Escolhemos este hotel justamente por ser na Collins Av, atrás da Ocean Dr., pois é perto do agito, mas permitiria dormir. E deu certo, o hotel é silencioso e se quiser agito é só andar por 3 minutos ou uma quadra para estar na praia e nos bares. O hotel é simples, mas tem todo o necessário para uma boa estadia, cama boa, ar condicionado eficiente, chuveiro quente, toalhas limpas diariamente, micro-ondas, frigobar e cafeteira. O hotel fornece o pó de café. Quarto espaçoso. Atendimento carinhoso e bem humorado da equipe hotel, com até dicas se quiser. Voltaremos, pois tem excelente relação de custo e benefício.

Très bon accueil de Luis et son staff. Chambre spacieuse tout confort, propre. A dispo micro onde mini frigo et cafetière.planche et fer à repasser. Possibilité serviette de plage et chaise de plage. Voir avec Luis. C'est la deuxième fois que je viens dans cet hõtel il n'y a pas de mauvaise surprise. Endroit calme, proche des lieux animės. Très bonnes glaces chez Ma mamia ! Sur la route de la plage à 100m.
