Good location with free parking

Room has no microwave, did not provide enough towels, woke up with bug bites on my neck and room smelled damp. Location was good.

The staff was very nice. The lady that works the bistro in the evening, Tonya.; was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The linens were fresh and soft, and the bed was very comfortable. My only concern was the fact that there was not enough lighting in the rooms.

Terrific location! Great staff! Excellent facilities! Varied breakfast options l. We chose to stay here once again as it is centrally located and safe and clean. Erick was big help prior to checkin; and Latasha was a smiling front desk agent who was great help, too. Both of these staff members were extra friendly and went the extra mile to make our ‘anniversary get away’ even nicer. Thanks to both— we will be back!

Visited this property in April 2023. The hotel is currently being renovated so construction is on going inside and outside. As far as I know, there is one entrance, which is near the Bistro Bar in the hotel. Construction workers were on site completing renovations long throughout the evening hours, which is a good thing because the team of contracted completed a load of work within 48 hours as I witnessed. I just didn't care for a few of the employees attitudes regarding specific services. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location. Restaurants, shopping, mall, are all within 1 to 5 minute drive. Rooms were already renovated and beautifully decorated. The rooms ending in odd numbers face the front of the hotel. (Just incase you want to park near your room, or so that you have a view of your vehicle). The backside of the hotel still needs loads of work. The area seems safe and as a traveler, no matter where I go, I'm always trying to park where I can see my vehicle. The fitness center and pool were closed (signs posted). There is a small area next to the reception desk to buy toiletries and snacks as needed. I think the Bistro Bar opens in the morning hours for breakfast and later after 5pm for evening purchases. Even with the construction happening, there are lots of tables and seating areas in the lobby. Elevator was a tad bit scary. There are 3 Elevators which all function well. No Elevator certificate posted, but there is a memo that states that it can be viewed. The beds in the rooms were very comfortable. The ice machines on the 3rd and 4th floors were inoperable, but ice is available on the 6th floor. Hotel hall ways were quiet. Downtown New Orleans is just a short drive away. *Beware of the credit card hold that will last for almost a month, with no resolution from the hotel itself. I was told that this was because I don't have a Louisiana bank. I call BS. I've had previous reservations in many Courtyard hotels, outside of Louisiana, and this never happened in over 20 years. I like the hotel, but I travel way too much to have funds being held up for over a month with no resolution.

This is a review of a overnight stay due to a funeral. This was a very nice hotel! We wasn’t expecting the king & sofa bed room to be a suite like room which was 100% great, loved the microwave in it if needed. The bathroom was huge and spread out. Definitely come back if ever back in Metairie.

recently stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Two Galleria Boulevard in Metairie, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon being my into my room for 2 nights I notice I was getting bit then , I discovered evidence of bed bugs, which significantly marred my stay. Despite reporting this issue immediately, I have yet to receive any effective communication from the hotel regarding my concerns. The lack of follow-up and resolution is disappointing and reflects poorly on the customer service at this establishment. Not only was the experience uncomfortable due to the bed bug situation, but the subsequent lack of response from the hotel has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. As a guest, I expected a higher standard of service from a reputable chain like Marriott. I hope this review serves as a cautionary note to others considering a stay at Marriott Courtyard Two Galleria Boulevard, Metairie. It's crucial for hotels to address and resolve such issues promptly to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of their guests.

The room is new and renovated -- I'll give them that -- but nothing else about the stay was good. First off, the room was this sparse beige institutional look. It was not at all warm or comforting. The bed wasn't that comfortable. There was a single sitting chair, and that wasn't comfortable either. The room was on the ground floor, with a large sliding glass door. There was a blackout curtain but no sheer curtain. So we had a choice of either sunlight or privacy in the room -- we couldn't have both. There are a number of kind of boneheaded design decisions. The lack of night light in the toilet room is somewhat dangerous. The towel rack is hanging in front of the sink, so when you are using the sink you are bumping up against used, damp towels -- gross! There is a Starbucks and paid food bar in the lobby. We had oatmeal one day, it was fine. The thing that got me is that there was no brewed coffee in the lobby during the morning -- only from the Starbucks. We had a very tiring and busy visit, and hoped for a hotel that was more comforting and rejuvenating. This was not that.

Eng Reception no very open to mutual understanding especially with international guests, (personally I don’t have in-depth knowledge of the English language). the staff speaks really fast and trying not to make any effort to talk to the guests to make them understand better. They keep talking really fast and it was really hard to trying to understand. Also, payments is not clear and really hard for international transactions.
