3rd Street Flats

Our group of 5 girlfriends stayed at the sister property, Oddfellows Lodge which is connected to The Atticus hotel. We stayed in Flat 7 and 8. Flat 7 was a 2 bedroom with the entire flat dimly lit. We would have appreciated brighter lighting to get ready, especially in the bathroom. We found that to be dark. The service was spectacular our entire trip. We enjoyed wine in the evening outside in the courtyard. You can't ask for a better location than this hotel. And a must for sure is dining at The Cypress. Spectacular food and great service. We were so pleasantly surprised! There are bikes to rent and complimentary coffee and latte bar for us to enjoy.

We had a great weekend staying at the 3rd Street Flats with my in-laws. All of the great service and amenities of the Atticus Hotel in a two-bedroom apartment right in the heart of town. A great location and a great experience.

Centrally located, the 31st Street Flats are convenient and luxurious. Everything you need for a delightful stay; clean, quiet and comfortable! Lovely staff, we did not want to leave. We will return!

3rd Street Flats is AMAZING! It is in the perfect location! Our Flat was very comfy, welcoming and beautiful! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We ate at Cypress and Humble Spirit, which I highly recommend both.

We stayed in the Rustique - the 6th Flat of the 3rd Street Flats. The accommodations were well appointed with a large dining table, full kitchen, & two bedrooms with King sized beds. On arrival we found a nice bottle of local Pinot Noir and chocolates in our kitchen to enjoy. The flats are in a renovated historic building, so there is no elevator - stairs lead up to the 2nd and third floors. When we checked in we were offered help from the Atticus staff getting our bags up to our room. The wood floors in our flat were a little squeaky - but that added to the charm. The location is fantastic and in the heart of McMinnville. 3rd Street is walkable with many fun shops and terrific restaurants. There was a street fair gong on the weekend we were there with live music and outdoor dining. We had a fun stay and were very comfortable here. I recommend 3rd Street Flats for anyone visiting Oregon’s wine country or visiting McMinnville.

Location of hotel was good if you are planning to visit the wine country and you'd like to stay in McMinnville. If you are looking for space in a room, and want a kitchen and living room, then this will be a fit. However, note that the floors are really squeaky (you can hear your neighbors walking, as if they are in your room), and that there are no parking provided for by the hotel. You have to park on a side street after 6pm (most spaces have a 30-120 minute max limit between 9-6pm) and you cannot park on the main street (3rd St.) because they clean the streets between 3-6am, (which you can hear). No elevators in the building either, so if you have large luggage, beware of the steep flight of stairs.

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit. The location is perfect, the staff friendly, and the rooms didn't feel like a hotel room at all. We will definitely be back.

Our stay was nice. The hotel next-door was a huge advantage. Our room was a bit musty, but we were able to open the windows.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay here - too short a trip to enjoy the space in its entirety! We stayed in Unit 4: The Retreat, which might be the best unit they have to offer (although I may be biased). Highly recommended it if you plan on staying in and want to enjoy prepping food in the kitchen then sitting at the nicely set up dining table, or the little 2-person bar in the kitchen - which was set up with two noodle bowls with chopsticks in their build-in chopstick holders! I’m Asian and I absolutely loved that little touch - great to have in case we wanted to have a noodly midnight snack. It’s self-service so it’s ideal for those who don’t really want people going in and out or need a ton of amenities. Essential toiletries are available, bathroom is small. Bed was comfortable and living room nicely furnished with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates. When you pick up your keys at Atticus Hotel to access your flat, visit the bar and crack a few nuts!
