Hotels in Matera mit Fitnessstudio

Wir waren für eine Nacht an desem speziellen Ort. Eine unglaublich schöne Locatin in mitten von Matera. Dies hört man entsprechend auch am Abend bis gut 01:00 oder am Morgen ab 06:00 wenn das Leergut entsorgt wird! Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer und auch die Therme besucht. Es stand 2h dies wurde gekürzt auf 1,5h. Der Preis pro Person wird auf 20€ berechnet. Der Empfang ist bei uns jetzt nicht so wahnsinnig gewesen wie viele schreiben. Infos wurden uns nicht mitgeteilt wie Frühstück oder sonstiges. Naja man kann ja alles fragen. Das Navi hat und voll vor das Hotel gelotst…Achtung das ist verboten…Es gibt oben in der Stadt rin Parkhaus, da gibt man das Auto mit Schlüssel und allem ab und wird mit dem Shuttelbus zum Hotel gefahren oder wieder gebracht. 20€ pro Tag/Nacht. Leider habe ich den Hinweis nirgends gefunden und wir haben somit nach dem Checkin das Auto in das Parking gefahren. Anschliessend haben wir aber direkt zu Fuss die Stadt erkundet und den Shuttel nicht benutzt. Das Frühstück ist super, ab 07:30 kann man sich da am Buffet verköstigen und für den Tag stärken. Es hat mich einwenig irritiert, dass man keineZeit angeben musste um nicht zu viele Personen auf einem Haufen zu haben sber ja…Es ist aufgegangen. Denke in der Haupsaison wird da vielleicht mehr darauf geachtet. Eine super schöne, interessante und faszinierende Stadt. Ein Besuch wert und eine Nacht hier im Hotel auch.

Wir bekamen eine Tipp vom Schwesterhotel Biancodonda in Gallipoli. Es gibt richtige Zimmer in einer Höhle(Sassi) aber auch Zimmer die in Steinhäusern über mehrere Etagen verteilt sind. Das wir mit Hund reisen, waren die reinen ”Cave rooms” (ohne Sicht) nicht buchbar. Wir hatten daher die Deluxe Plus Zimmer mit Terrasse und Ausblick zu den Höhlenkirchen und der Schlucht mit den Sassis. Sensationell. Das Höhlen Feeling erlebt man aber in den allgemeinen Räumen, Aufenthaltsbereichen und natürlich im Spa. Es gibt einen Lift der aber nur zwei Etagen umfasst, In Matera gehört das Treppenlaufen und Steigen einfach dazu. Sensationell ist das Spa mit wirklich großem Pool, der tatsächlich in den Berg gebaut wurde. Fantastisch. Vorab muss ein Zeitslot (1 Stunde ist kostenfrei) gebucht werden. Wir nahmen die Zeiten am Vormittag des Abreisetags und waren fast alleine. Sauna und Dampfbad und etliche Liegen sind vorhanden, auch ein umfangreiches Massage - Angebot gibt es. Der Frühstücksraum ist klein , das Büffet etwas zusammengedrängt aber es ist ein gutes Frühstücksangebot. Es gibt auch ein Restaurant, das wir aber nicht nutzten. Das Aquatico Cave Luxury Hotel ist ein empfehlenswertes Haus für die, die die moderne Interpretation mit der jahrtausendealten Höhlentradition in Matera mögen. Wer mit dem Auto da ist findet preiswerte öffentliche Plätze in der Via Lucana (Parkometer) und nur vier Gehminuten zum Hotel oder in diversen Parkhäusern. Sicher ist es überall. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr nett.

Ich habe nichts gefunden, aber es gibt Bestellungen, so dass es möglich ist, uns den Zimmertyp zu aktualisieren, der Bereich ist groß, aber in der Untergrundgrotte ist das sehr spezielle grottenzimmer, aber ich habe den Eindruck, dass es eine Nacht ist, es ist nass und es ist sehr dunkel und es wird schwer, kontinuierlich zu leben, Das Frühstückszimmer wurde von der Kirche des 17. Jahrhunderts geändert. Sehr gezeichnet. Die Aussicht des Hotels ist großartig, aber die Wand über dem Bett, in dem wir leben, ist in die Bodenwand gefallen und hat ein Bett gekriegt. Besonders nach dem nächsten Morgen danke ich Trip.com für die Hilfe beim Hotel und hat uns Hunderte von Yuan als Ausgleich zurückgegeben. Aber die Merkmale des Hotels sind es noch wert, eine Nacht zu erleben.

To be honest, I was skeptical about this one. I needed to book the hotel last minute (like literally the previous night), so seeing an old-looking building (probably constructed in the 1980s) was not really encouraging BUT I wanted to see Matera, so I went ahead. The hotel surprised me and by a lot. First of all - yes, the building is old BUT all inside is renovated, so all is great. The rooms are good in size (not too small at all, just right) and everything is very clean. You have a full minibar if you want something and the hotel has a working restaurant and staff at reception 24/7. The breakfast is phenomenal (like, literally anything any traveler could want) and the staff are helpful and friendly. The best thing about the hotel is the location. Basically, there is no other hotel in Matera which is closer to the Sassi and the historical center. You just need 5 minutes of slow walking (entrance to the old town square is just behind the hotel :) ) and you are at the viewpoint and the cistern. There is a vending machine for snacks and drinks just less than 10 minutes away down the street from the hotel (in the old town) and any sights and amazing places to eat are within the same 5-10 minute distance. If you want to see the historical center of Matera, this is the place to stay (you won't regret it, trust me!). The hotel is very popular with Italians visiting Matera, so keep that in mind and if you are not travelling solo, like me, better book in advance :) The prime location comes with a single downside and a few things to consider (listing them here as they are just things to keep in mind and not something that is a huge issue) - the proximity to the Sassi means you will be quite far away from the bus station (3 kilometers) and the train station (1.5 kilometers). The distance is not that much BUT it is an uphill slope 90% of the time, so if you have a lot of luggage, better take a taxi. I loved it, so there is nothing I can put my finger at as a bad things, really, I just want to continue what I started above with the things you should keep in mind when visiting. If you come by car, make sure to notify the hotel in advance, as it is within a restricted parking area and parking lots are limited. Also be aware that the hotel is busy (as I said, very popular with Italians visiting) and check-in starts at 15.00, so if you come in earlier than that, you may need to wait. The staff would do anything they can to accommodate you early, BUT if you plan on arriving before noon, better notify them, to get your room ready. The hotel also have luggage storage, just so you know. Did I say I loved it? Just to repeat I can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time at La Suite. It was a last minute switch from a luxury hotel too far out of town. We were so lucky to have found la Suite. It was a great location just off the pedestrian area, easy to walk anywhere, the Sassi entry points and the many good restaurants in Matera. Particularly handy in the recurrent rain we faced. The staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants etc. Its a great base in Matera. Only hiccup was a bit slow breakfast on the last day when they didn't have many guests and everyhing had to be pre-ordered and a slight miscommunication on the laundry - it showed up finally. All in all a lovely place.
