Once upon a time, this was one of our company's most frequently booked hotels. That changed in August, 2016, when the management abruptly flagged my RediCard loyalty number as "do not rent" and began to blatantly and unapologetically single me out among my co-workers, refusing to rent me a room without any explanation. It took me six days following our final checkout just to get the owner on the phone. When I demanded an explanation, he accused me of allegedly stealing a bedspread (of all things) during my previous stay and informed me that he would refuse to rent me another room until I either returned the highly coveted linen or paid the $95 replacement fee. No matter how many disparate logical arguments I threw at him to illustrate the obvious absurdity of his accusation, he refused to believe me or even give me the benefit of the doubt. You just can't make this stuff up! I wouldn't be inclined to believe many of the negative reviews on here had I not witnessed many similar situations firsthand. The accounts of the owner being combative, unreasonable, and even downright irrational are absolutely plausible. He is definitely more interested in winning an argument with a guest than he is in ultimately winning the war. Needless to say, he never got the bedspread I did not steal, the replacement fee, nor any future business from me or our company.
