We arrived just before midnight and were forced to pay a number of charges which were NOT quoted in the T&C’s if we wanted the key. We showed this the following morning to the receptionist, and after lot of to and fro, she agreed to refund for a couple of things but REFUSED to refund us for a €50 cleaning fee. She blamed it on the travel agency for not including it on the T&C’s (!). The studio was extremely humid (see pictures, including the pillow!), the A/C was not working, the room was not clean, the sofa-bed was very uncomfortable, and the fittings were falling apart. In a nutshell, the studio was not liveable. We understand that it is not a 5-star hotel but the condition was very far from the published pictures. We had a 6-night reservation and left after the 1st night as they would not fix it or give us an alternative accommodation. What we found shocking is that they would not refund us for the other 5 nights as they said that “there was no problem to fix”. When receiving complaints, they tend to hide behind the “office in Turin” which seems to manage the property but at the end they try to keep your money based on the small print. In summary, we feel that this is not an ethical way of doing business and we would advise everyone to stay away.
