Turtle bay lodge had lovely grounds and only metres from the beach with spectacular views everywhere.Very professionally run with very friendly and helpful staff. A love place to sit back and relax but also adventure is just around the corner with blue holes close by and champagne Bay not too far away . Family rooms available which would be great for kids. Will be returning!

I'm never going back to Denerau after this! Wow, boutique resort on the water, no trashy glitz, just quiet gorgeousness. Excellent food and staff. We stayed in a self contained glamping tent with wooden floors and airconditioning, although there are actual rooms as another option. The activity options are amazing, and affordable, and the staff will help you book. Dont miss snorkelling on the reef and checking out the dugongs, also the blue holes, Riri river drifting and Champagne Beach. Theres even a PADI dive school there, and you can have a beginners session in the pool which makes it feel safe and accessible for those who only dreamed of scuba diving. On the last day we visited the local school which is supported by the Lodge. The managers are great community minded people who really care about their staff and the Santo community. We left feeling like we had contributed to the local economy as well as had a comfortable holiday with many new experiences in this beautiful spot.

Turtle Bay was so relaxing, the environment is beautiful, the setting is amazing and I would highly recommend to any body. Good access to snorkelling and kayaking to the incredible Matevulu blue hole. The staff are so kind and it was really hard to leave! We love Turtle Bay!

A slightly off the beaten track resort, but it was worth it. Views from every room, both beach front and bay view. All staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. Champagne beach, the blue hole swimming, and more. A great time!

From the sounds of the ocean lulling you to sleep, to the amazingly delicious tastes of the in-house restaurant, and the friendly staff who are only too happy to arrange tours and activities and help make your stay ‘isi nomo’ - you will never want to leave this slice of paradise. Can highly recommend Santo Tour Agent for car hire (to access Champagne Beach and Port Olry, also the many beautiful blue holes in the area) and Fabrice at Best Snorkeling in Santo for a snorkeling and turtle/dujong spotting tour. He also gives you a fascinating insight into the history of Santo. Don’t forget to book a massage with Rose, so wonderful, and save some time for relaxing in the many hammocks around the property or lazing by the pool. We are planning our next trip already for the horse riding and diving! Fisher Family.

Turtle Bay Lodge is in a beautiful quiet location. Our family of 14, including 7 children all loved our stay. The kids spent many hours in the pool and had fun running around in the gardens. We all enjoyed the restaurant and our rooms were lovely . The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Spent two weeks at Turtle Bay Lodge, first ever trip to Santo and it was amazing place and can't believe only 2.5 hours from Brisbane, well kept secret. Turtle Bay Lodge was wonderful, I am 75, my daughter 53 and a grandaughter 14 and we all agreed amazing resort, the staff were absolutely lovely and adressed everyone by name every day making us feel special. amazing menu and all food first class, it is a small resort and due to recent flight problems occupancy was low but service we recieved was great, the bungalow was spacious and lovely views from verandah, when we left felt like we had new friends with both owners and staff. Recommend Turtle bay lodge 100%

We dived as a family with Turtle Bay Lodge and Mick and Vicky were fantastic! They accommodated our mish mash group of kids and inexperienced divers in a way that everyone had a great time. We didn’t stay at the accommodation but plan to next family holiday as it looked beautiful and the lunch was sensational! Thank you Mick and Vicky for looking after our family - the kids are all inspired to dive a lot more in future.

I can’t fault the accommodation, the staff, the location, service and facilities. The receptionist, Ange, was so helpful, professional, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Valetine and the restaurant staff were wonderful. The owners Lou and Matt were friendly and full of useful advice. The location is convenient for trips to Nanda, Matevulu and Ri Ri Blue Holes (all stunning), the Millenium Cave tours (pure paradise), Port Olry and Champagne Beach. I came with my daughter but will be coming back with the rest of my family soon. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable.
