Free and covered parking, parking attendants even cleaning up your car windscreen for free. Free wifi. Complimentary in-room coffee makers & menu bar items. Satisfying breakfast buffet. No deposit required. Walking distance to Jonker Street & other nearby attractions. Quality herbal-smell toiletries. Cons: Arrived early but need to wait quite sometimes as room was not ready. Long lines at the front desk during my check-out. No bidet. Limited tv channels. Lousy noise when using water spray next to toilet.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel Melaka, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Zahier, and other staff Mr. Syahmi, Mr. Aliff, and Ms. Alia, whose exceptional service made our stay even more memorable. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor truly stood out. A unique feature of the hotel is their dedicated WhatsApp number for guests, which constantly checks on your stay experience. This level of attentiveness is commendable. They even went the extra mile to call me back when I accidentally left my Apple charger behind, ensuring I could retrieve it without hassle. I highly recommend DoubleTree Hotel Melaka to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The combination of excellent facilities, delicious food, and outstanding staff made my visit truly enjoyable.

Had an incredible experience at this hotel! Our room was wonderfully spacious, perfect for our family's needs. What really stood out was their exceptional service. I mentioned my son's 2nd birthday and asked for simple decorations - they went above and beyond! The staff surprised us with beautiful decor and a special cake that made our little boy so happy. I was truly impressed by their thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The hotel's effort to make our celebration special showed their commitment to creating memorable stays for guests. Convenient location close to the city centre, sea view was great. Slight hiccup with the door access but the front counter sorted it out pretty quickly. There was a 50% off pizzas and pastas at the hotel’s Italian restaurant at level 1 on weekdays between 2-5pm (?). Can’t imagine I’d ever have Italian in malacca but we reached at 9.30pm on day 1 when everything else was closed and the pasta we had was pretty amazing, amongst the better Italian food I’ve had.

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

Wenn Sie weg von diesen geschäftigen Gegenden und doch nicht zu weit weg sein möchten, ist dies eine gute Unterkunft. Angeblich von vielen Geschäften umgeben, aber aufgrund einer Pandemie wurden viele Geschäfte geschlossen. Das Personal hier war freundlich. Während meiner Check-in-Zeit, da es zu früh war, gab mir diese indische Dame (sieht aus wie eine Krippe) einen Gutschein für einen hauseigenen Parkplatz und ließ mich mein Auto zum Mittagessen parken. Sie versucht auch, mir nach Möglichkeit beim frühen Check-in zu helfen. Für Zimmergröße nicht so geräumig wenn man mit zu viel Gepäck bei 2 Personen übernachtet. Insgesamt bin ich mit meinem Aufenthalt im Eco Tree Hotel zufrieden.

Dies ist das zweite Mal, dass wir im Bayview Hotel einchecken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Namen der Mitarbeiter sind Muhammad und Wafi. Der Check-in-Vorgang verläuft reibungslos. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und sehr komfortabel. Bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit war der Raum perfekt vorbereitet. Wiederholung bestätigen. 😎❤️👍🏻

Good services, we went on sunday and monday, i heard lot of people talk about the bad lifts, but we do not encountered it during our stay maybe because it was not peak seasons. On top of that, for the price we paid, we really satisfied with the rooms, service and amenities. For breakfast, i could say the nyonya laksa and beef rendang were chef kiss!! lack of varieties, but suit with the price. The hotel location is strategic to the tourist attractions.

Das Hotel liegt im Stadtzentrum, was für jeden Touristen sehr praktisch ist. Für jeden Gast stehen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen ganz in der Nähe, Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade, Afamosa, Melaka River Cruise, Malacca Tower und Jonker Street sind vom Hotel aus zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es ist eine sehr strategische Lage, wenn Sie die nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen möchten. Die hauseigenen Restaurants sind ebenfalls erschwinglich. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, aber einige Dinge könnten verbessert werden, wie die Schalldämmung der Haupttür und die Fehlfunktion des AC-Thermostats. Die Aussicht vor dem Fenster ist wunderschön.
