Lovely quiet spot with stunning view over fields and mountain. Comfortable huts, variety of rustic and more modern ones. Good swimming pool, bike hire. This is a traditional family run business, with the family living on site. Home cooked food is delicious.

Quaint and super comfortable. A jewel of a place in amongst the rice paddies. Air conditioning, pool and wifi combined with traditional Vietnamese culture. One Bedroom bungalows are clean, tidy and has everything you need. Super special and you will not regret it at all.

A great little boutique hotel -type homestay. The owners are super friendly, people, always happy to help. Excellent food and a really lovely place to have some "down time" with family/friends. There's a fabulous pool, rusty old bikes that make the distance around the local villages, aircon for those hot days, and firm but comfortable beds. Rooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean. Thanks for having us for a couple of nights. Note - cash only! The nearest ATM is a fair hike away in Mai Chau town (which is not worth your time if it is possible to avoid).

We stayed at Little Mai Chau Homestay for 2 nights during the first week of rice planting, immediately following Tet. We felt so lucky to be there as the rice paddies came alive, filling with families beginning the planting process. Little Mai Chau was in the perfect location, with excellent food for breakfast and dinner, and even a small restaurant around the corner at the Green Homestay... Which we frequented! I highly recommend you stay at Little Mai Chau for 2 nights; it was the perfect way to relax.

Well can't say any accommodation in Mai Chau area is better than this place, both with a view of the fields and mountains, delicious food, friendly hosts, reasonable cheap room rates, the hosts named Huan and Huong are very happy looks welcome to you, Recommend this!

To be honest, i have opportunity to travel in many different places. I stayed at hostel, hotel and homestay but "little Mai Chau homestay" is the best place which i always want to stay more. Beautiful view, you can see rice fields when open the door. In the evening, seat at bacony, take a cup of tea and hear small animals. Delicious food, Mrs Huong not only go to market but also cook it for everyone. My friends was admired her skill cooking. Suitable price, i think it is very cheap not suitable. We book a bugalow, about US$25 for 4 people per night and including breakfast. Why don't you try to stay in this, you won't be dissapointed

Loved my stay here ! I had a bungalow with a balcony overlooking spectacular rice fields. The room and beds were very comfortable with great air conditioning. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with fresh banana pancakes or eggs and bread for breakfast and a great variety of foods for dinner. I stayed three nights here and each night enjoyed great food, company and conversation with fellow guests. The family were very friendly and helpful. One thing I would have liked would have bern some snacks available for lunch. The shops in the village are not far away but my last day i wanted to relax and it was 105 F just a tad hot to walk far !

I loved my stay at Little Mai Chau Homestay. I spent three nights here and was tempted to stay the rest of my trip here! The bungalows are cozy, comfortable, and super quiet compared to other places in town. The breakfast was typical to most other homestays, but the dinners (group style for 80k a person) were delicious and a great way to get a taste of local Vietnamese food. Huong and her family are super accommodating and available to help book buses, cook meals, and give recommendations! There are free bicycles to use for trips to town and they also can arrange motorbike rentals as well. I highly recommend for solo travelers or groups!

The little huts may look basic but they are actually very comfortable with good a/c, comfortable beds, mosquito net, great shower with hot water and fast and reliable wifi (we work online so this is very important to us). The setting is amazing! The homestay is located in the middle of rice fields. Easy to borrow/rent bikes and cycle through the rice fields. Nice coffee shops/restaurants a few minutes walk. We liked the communal dinners; made it easy to talk to other travelers. The food was home cooked and very nice. And I like the fact that we could refill our bottles with purified water for free. The host was lovely and very accommodating. If you want to experience the beautiful countryside around Mai Chau, this is the place! Highly recommended!
