Excellent stay, just as expected from this brand. I upgraded to a higher floor and bigger room for a small fee and really enjoyed the room; spacious, stylish, spotless, and with very comfortable bedding and pillows. The in-room entertainment was great, with a soundbar for Chromecast/YouTube, plus the option to request a turntable or guitar at no extra cost, which was a fun touch. I didn’t use the pool, bar, or restaurant since I preferred exploring the many great dining options within a 5–10 minute walk. The hotel’s location is good: very walkable to Atocha Station (my main reason for choosing it) and close to the city’s three major museums. For getting into town, buses are generally more convenient as the nearest metro is Line 1; for Line 3 (Lavapiés) it’s a short walk, but the route is lively with plenty of restaurants and bars along the way.

Ich habe drei aufeinanderfolgende Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Direkt vor der Tür befand sich ein Supermarkt. Besonders loben möchte ich die Tiefgarage. Die Ein- und Ausfahrt waren sehr breit, sodass große Autos problemlos hineinfahren konnten, und auch der Parkplatz war groß. Einziger Nachteil war die etwas veraltete Ausstattung des Hotels und das zu geringe Duschwasser. Auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Alles andere war sehr gut, sauber und der Service gut.

We stayed at the hotel for one night and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel is quite large and conveniently located slightly inside from the main street, in a quieter inner area. This actually makes car access very comfortable and convenient. The room itself was great — blackout curtains (which are very important for good sleep), a comfortable mattress, and everything felt clean and well maintained. The service was also good and professional. For a short stay, the price-quality ratio is absolutely fair. Overall, we were satisfied and would consider staying here again.

Mein Aufenthalt im Crowne Plaza Hotel war ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Der herzliche Empfang, das prächtige Zimmer und der tadellose Service haben mir einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt beschert. Die köstliche Küche und die ideale Lage runden diese empfehlenswerte Adresse ab. Ein großes Dankeschön an das Team für diese Auszeit voller Luxus und Komfort. Ich werde gerne wiederkommen!

Die Dekoration ist mein Lieblingsstil. Der Shuttlebus ist nutzlos. Ich habe einen Tag vorher eine E-Mail geschickt, aber niemand hat geantwortet. Vor dem Abflug hat niemand ans Telefon gegangen. Nach der Landung wurde das Telefon verbunden und sie sagten, dass an diesem Tag um 21 Uhr nur ein Shuttlebus fuhr. Ich schätze, sie haben ihn nicht organisiert, weil nicht viele Leute da waren. Die Reservierung des Flughafentransfers erfolgt beim Check-in. Das ist eine Unterrichtsstunde pro Stunde. Ich habe dieses Hotel aufgrund des Shuttlebusses gebucht, aber dieser Vorteil wurde nicht hervorgehoben. Außerdem ist das Geräusch von fließendem Wasser zu laut, sodass Personen mit schlechter Schlafqualität es vielleicht noch einmal in Betracht ziehen. Andere Dinge sind sehr gut

The apartment was hugely overpriced. The location is nowhere near the plush area of Retiro as suggested by the apartment description. The apartments are tiny with no natural light. They are very dark and depressing. The water takes a long long time to heat up. There has been money wasted on fancy bathroom sinks and wooden floors when comfort should be the number one priority. The beds are really terrible and really hard. I developed back and shoulder pain within a few hours of trying to sleep on the bed. The human spine is S shaped and if you lie on a decent bed your shoulder and hip should sink into the mattress. This offers vital comfort and support. The pillows are really cheap and uncomfortable and in the two upstairs apartments you can hear the people in the next room loud and clear. The equipment in the kitchen is very restricted. Not enough knives and forks and the cutlery provided is not suitable. Steak knives all two of them to spread butter!!! Nothing to cut loaves or other food stuffs. Half a tea towel and no kitchen towel which is not practical to buy for a 1-3 night stay. Two toilet rolls, not enough for a 3 person stay. Considering the extortionate price charged for the tiny so called Junior Suite, the owner should have provided more comfort and facilities and the beds are truly terrible and lack of sound proofing being able to hear my neighbours farting was pretty awkward. However, the lady on Reception Mayumi was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was kind and considerate and a real asset to the company. The male members of staff were not remotely helpful whoever they were. Not a place I would recommend and certainly not at that price with beds that feel like you are sleeping on the floor with a sheet and pillow!

Es ist nicht weit von der U-Bahn und dem Bahnhof entfernt, etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Es ist etwas beschwerlich, mit Gepäck den Hang hinaufzulaufen, und es liegt nicht in der Nähe von Touristenattraktionen. Es gibt weder Essen noch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Jedes Mal, wenn man eine Sehenswürdigkeit besichtigen möchte, muss man weit laufen, was nicht sehr praktisch ist. Wenn man nur ein oder zwei Nächte in der Stadt bleibt, ist es akzeptabel. Aber der Preis ist sehr gut, und ich kann mich nicht beschweren. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, und die Klimaanlage und das Warmwasser sind auch sehr gut. Ein oder zwei Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sprechen besser Englisch. Ich muss trotzdem bis 3 Uhr morgens warten, um einzuchecken, wenn ich ankomme. Es gibt keinen Föhn, aber eine USB-Lademöglichkeit.

I had a fantastic stay at Petit La Latina. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A special mention to the customer service team, who were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my visit. It’s excellent value for money given the quality and location. Highly recommend!

This hostel offers a very good balance between price and quality. The room, bathroom, sheets, and towels are clean. The location is very central, yet it is completely quiet on the third floor. Check-in may be complicated for non-Spanish-speaking guests, as you do not receive any information prior to arrival. Shampoo and shower gel are provided. The air conditioning is new and works very well. This place opened in 2023.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt neben der Metrostation Embajadores, von wo aus man ganz Madrid erreichen kann. Das Hostel selbst war nett; die Rezeptionistin sprach zwar kein Englisch, aber das war für mich kein Problem, da wir uns auf Spanisch verständigen konnten. Die Zimmer fand ich nicht schmutzig; niemand schlief laut, und es war nicht überfüllt. Allerdings knarrten die Betten sehr stark, und die Klimaanlage schaltete sich nach 0:30 Uhr plötzlich ab. Eine Stunde später war das Zimmer sehr stickig. Da ich nur einen Tag dort war, war es kein Problem, aber ich bin sicher, dass es unangenehm gewesen wäre, wenn ich länger geblieben wäre. Falls das Problem mit der Klimaanlage nicht am Personal liegt, sollten die Gäste meiner Meinung nach darauf hingewiesen werden, insbesondere um für bessere Luftverhältnisse zu sorgen.
