Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg

Wah Taj.... I had arrived with my wife n 2 kids to celebrate our anniversary and it was truly a great experience. The property's ambience merged with nature, providing stunning views all around right from the reception to the infinity pool. The food was top notch with breakfast options galore.. Our anniversary special cottage decor and surprise cake were truly fabulous making our stay more memorable. Sadly since it was continuously rainy throughout the stay, we couldn't explore the outdoor amenities the resort offers. So looking forward to visit again.

I am a Taj Chambers Member and have stayed at a large number of hotels in India and Abroad. I have no hesitation in saying that Taj Madikeri is one of the finest Hotels in the World. We had a fabulous stay at Taj Madikeri at the end of October. Returning after 10-12 years, we found that it has been developed into one of the best resorts we have seen worldwide. The facilities are amazing, and the villas are just super luxurious, and yet integrated into the surrounding forest. Nestled in acres of green, it is also a nature-lover's dream. Or simply a super luxury resort!!. The service is outstanding. Vikas, the GM, Ginil and Rebita at the check in, Prem, Guru (at the grill), Laxita and all others at the restaurants. The food in both restaurants was excellent. both chefs gave personal attention. Chef Dharini and another Chef. The Hotel upgraded us to a Pool Villa which is 3000 sq ft with a built in swimming pool! It had a separate dining, living and bed room apart from a heated indoor pool. The Hotel is a perfect combination of luxury stay, surrounded by nature. One can just rest, or enjoy nature or enjoy the culture of the region or enjoy various activities and the spa at the Hotel. Nitin, the naturalist is also amazingly knowledgable and enthusiastic. We had fantastic nature walk with him. And it isnt too far from the town if you want to make a trip. The dr at the spa and the treatments there were also excellent. We had an amazing stay and look forward to going back to this fabulous property with its even more fabulous team. Whatever we requested or did not ask for, was provided. Our friends were also awestruck by the property.

Beautiful, serene, peaceful, well-maintained resort amid the greenery. It was a perfect break to celebrate my Birthday and have some peaceful time. They also provide wide range of activities. Breakfast buffet was delicious with local as well as other options.

Beautiful location, luxury hotel, super quiet & secluded rooms ! Good food ! Indoor pool is amazing :) The view as soon as you reach the hotel from the lobby is to die for ! The property is spread on 180 acres & its maintained quiet well ! Spa is a MUST ! Rejuvenate yourself :) I would recommend min 4 night, since the location is far from airport; we did 3 nights, we reached at 4.30 in the evening on day 1 and had to leave by 10.15 on day 4 since the airport was far !

This was one of the best resort we had stayed. The resort has very nice scenic views. Room was spacious...amazing decor...my daughter loved the room...nice bathroom...staff was very courteous...very delicious food especially the local coorg dishes...overalls awesome experience...would definitely plan to visit again...

We have been going to Taj Madikeri for our family vacation for many years now. Everything about the property is top notch and well maintained over the years. The staff are extremely well trained and courteous to clients, right from the reception, to housekeeping, to security staff, to the manager. Their warmth is well appreciated & noted. The rooms and the villas are true reflection and representation of luxury that Taj always offers you. Our kudos to the entire team at Taj Madikeri.
