Alegre - Bussaco Boutique Hotel

This was our first visit to Northern Portugal and we arrived there very late. We discovered at the airport the car hire company we had booked through did not exist. It took us a while to sort and although I'm sure it was an inconvenience the Hotel were very helpful and Nuno took our calls so we were very appreciative. This is an old style hotel full of antiques and curiosities and so interesting to look around! The breakfast room is full of clocks! Our bedroom was lovely we had a balcony to the front so we had a beautiful view all over the town of Luso. The bed was super comfortable with clean bathroom. Breakfast was a mixture of some cooked food and some breads and cereals it would have been nice to have a little more fresh fruit and muesli type cereals. We sat outside a few mornings and it is really beautiful surroundings. The gardens and pool are beautiful, lovely to relax at the pool or in the hammocks. We found it disappointing that there was no pool bar or bar option for lunch, we had to walk into the town anytime we wanted food or drink. The town of Luso is only a few minutes walk and it is really beautiful. It's very obvious that it has suffered greatly from the pandemic so hopefully tourists will return as it is such a little gem. Restaurants are few but we ate out locally every night and the food was really excellent. The Palace and Forest of Bussaco are also within walking distance although a little more challenging as uphill but it is really lovely to get to and to walk around. You can spend a lot of time around the area if you enjoy hiking and walking. Very restful break in a beautiful spot, it us old worldly and like stepping back in time. Lovely stay.

Personnel très gentil parle bien le français . Très accueil. Extérieur très joli et bien entretenu L'hôtel est bien situé dans le joli village de Luso. interieur très propre mais déco intérieures et mobiliers très anciens . .Nous avons bien apprécié la jolie piscine à bonne température . Très calme . Très bon petit déjeuner avec un grand chois.

Local tranquilo e sossegado, mesmo em pleno agosto. Tem o charme dos edifícios antigos e algumas das suas fragilidades. O quarto que nos coube tinha vista para a zona interior e não era muito grande, mas estava muito limpo e era confortável. Serviço amável. A zona da piscina é muito agradável para relaxar ao final da tarde.

Hotel muito simpático e acolhedor. Tem espaços muito agradáveis e bem tratados: zona da piscina e do jardim são impecáveis. O staff é muito afável. O pequeno almoço é básico, mas bem servido. O quarto estava limpo e bem cuidado. Acima de tudo, vale a pena a visita pela sua história. Parabéns à direção do hotel, por manterem este espaço.

Hotel situado no meio da Vila numa antiga casa Senhorial um autêntico hotel de charme. Lindo lindo! Muito limpo e acolhedor. Cama muito confortável e um excelente pequeno almoço. Estacionamento pequeno para o número de quartos. Experiência óptima e a repetir. Superou as expectativas.

Es un gran hotel, antiguo y con mucho encanto, la habitación era grande con baño privado y bañera, un ventanal grande que daba al aparcamiento Eso otro tiene aparcamiento privado gratuito, aunque con pocas plazas, unas 10 a lo sumo, sin embargo en los alrededores hay espacio para aparcar sin problema El desayuno también variado y lo teníamos ya incluido en la reserva, por lo que no sabría decir si se puede incluir y que precio tiene en caso de que la reserva no lo tuviera ya Para el verano es fantástico ya que cuenta con piscina y bar exterior, además de una zona ajardinada donde poder relajarse, una maravilla!!
