"We were very disappointed with Villa Pedone. Apart from the stunning view of the surrounding countryside, everything fell far short of our expectations, especially at nearly €200 a night for a couple. The bathroom wasn't clean and desperately needed a refresh (dirty, leaky shower cubicle, moldy grout, rusty and peeling paint on the towel warmer, door covered in black marks, dirty toothbrush holder, etc.). The bedroom was generally dreary, with very basic furnishings (the owner gave us a choice between two rooms, and we naturally chose the lesser of two...). The bedding was uncomfortable (the bed frame creaked and the mattress was very worn). Breakfast was minimal (vacuum-packed cold cuts with an expired, greenish hue – see photo, frozen rolls, stale pastries, very little choice...). The pool was small, and the surrounding common areas were limited. The owner was unfriendly and showed little concern for guest comfort. The value for money was very poor considering the services offered."

"Das Hotel im Bergbereich ist ein Stil, die Landschaft ist wie malen, sehr zu empfehlen, im Hotel zum Abendessen zu essen, super leckere, elegante West-Restaurant, hat ein Modell, ein guter Geschmack, ein hoher Preis (mehr als 30 Euro pro Person), von der Eröffnung von Gemüse und dem Kopfschirm bis zum Teepunkt. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut."

"Bei der Lucca Comics bleiben wir immer in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist großartig. Zunächst liegt es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß von den Mauern und dann höchstens 15 vom Zentrum von Lucca entfernt, ohne mit Hotels oder B&B im Zentrum "zu verschwenden" oder andere weniger teure, aber weit entfernte Lösungen zu wählen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, zu parken, aber um die Gegend des Stadiums gibt es viele freie Parkplätze. Jetzt gehen wir zum Hotel. Das Zimmer ist groß und gut erwärmt, mit Kühlschrank und Fernseher natürlich. Das gute Frühstück wurde in einem freundlichen, aber vielleicht zu klein für den Zustrom von Menschen serviert. Ich empfehle es sehr. Roberto & Arianna"

"Sehr freundliche Eigentümer , Zimmer mit jedem Komfort. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ideal für einen Besuch in Lucca, weil in guter Lage. Reine Zimmer. Einziger Neo für diejenigen, die in einem Auto kommen, dass es keine Parkplätze ... Sie müssen auf der Hauptstraße parkieren, aber es gibt immer Platz"

"Our stay here was perfect. Kind and welcoming staff, excellent food and service and a beautiful, spacious room. We stayed here for Christmas with our two young children, who were made to feel very welcome and they enjoyed the garden and space around the villa to play in. We will certainly be back in the summer months to enjoy the swimming pool and eat outside on the terraces. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you. "

"wir waren zu vierten mal dort! wir werden wiederkommen! warum? weil es ein wirklich tolles refugium ist! nur wenige autominuten von lucca entfernt aber trotzdem auf dem land. freundliches und kompetentes sowie auffallend unkompliziertes personal. sehr schöne individuelle zimmer, angenehmer pool mit getränkeservice und abends ein sehr schönes restaurant. bistecca fiorentina ist wohl das signiture dish. schöne weine, kein shishi!!."
