"For one night, we stayed in the small house on the left side of the property. From the outside, the cottage seemed rather welcoming, but inside, it was a DISAPPOINTMENT. The accommodation was extremely dirty, with dust everywhere, cobwebs, dead insects, and mold. The kitchen was dirty (microwave, sink, and inside the fridge had moldy food). We even decided not to shower or use the bathroom at all. For "PRESTIGE" accommodation, this is not acceptable. The next morning, the owner came to bring us breakfast. I told him about these remarks and showed them to him, but he remained unperturbed and only mentioned that he would check with the cleaning lady, but I very much doubt that a cleaning lady would take care of this small house. In any case, there was no goodwill gesture; we paid €90. We will not be back."

"This place is absolutely stunning. Quiet, and the hosts are amazingly friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and inviting. The rooms are cozy and I had the best sleep during my trip here. Breakfast is flexible and the host will work around your schedule as needed, great spread of French breakfast items. Despite the cold temps the rooms are warm and inviting. Nearby to many war memorials so it is a quick drive to museums and other sites. Highly recommended."

"A really lovely venue and perfect location for touring the Beach Landings and surrounding countryside. Charming host. Just be aware that there are no restaurants in the village. A taxi to the nearest can cost up to €70 each way, depending on which major city they come from to collect you. Uber would be cheaper if you can get them to accept the fare, we couldn't. Fortunately, a young couple on the next table drove us for nothing ! (We dropped flowers to them the next day and we're still quids in !). Excellent breakfast. 😁"

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."

The hotel is a warm, elegant and restful hotel, ideal for a couple stay. We have worshipped and will come back without hesitation."

"The room was tight with space and the shower room the size of a closet. The wash basin was cracked. Where the manager was very charming and helpful her staff left much to be desired. Their body language left one with the impression that they were tired of tourists invading their space; indifferent and could not look at you in the eye. Table service was very poor showing a lack of training and experience. We were seated at a table but not given any menus. After waiting a quarter of an hour we noticed other couples arriving were seated and given menus immediately. At that point I got up and asked a member of staff for a menu. Having supplied our order we were kept waiting half an hour before the first course arrived while other customers who had arrived after us were served before us. Our dinner took us two and a half hours! On departure, after two nights, we were checked out by one of the assistants who was very curt, could not look at me in the eye and could not bring herself to wish us a pleasant journey! Cannot recommend this hotel"

Das Restaurant drückt die Punktzahl nach unten: Bedienung zu zackig, Vorspeise wurde serviert bevor wir unseren Aperitif ausgetrunken haben, das Essen war enttäuschend (bei der Vorspeise drei Scampis, deren Geschmack von der Panade übertüncht wurde, das Geflügelgericht so gut wie nicht gewürzt)."
