Aguamar Apartamentos, Los Cristianos Downtown

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Aguamar and had a fantastic holiday, made better by the very accommodating and friendly staff. We are a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 13 & 16 and were lucky enough to have a poolside apartment which made life a lot easier. The apartments had everything we needed self catering, and were kept very clean. The hotel and especially the pool side was spotless. The sun lounger situation was very civil with people standing in their chosen poolside location sometimes 90 minutes before the beds were put out, but at least they were committed and didn’t just leave a towel. Although on our last day we noticed for the first time that people were leaving towels in a spot and coming back just before the beds were being put out. This is always going to be difficult to manage. The reception staff were extremely friendly and always assisted us where they could. The poolside bar was well run and food was good. Location is excellent, 5 mins from the main restaurants and bars, or 15 mins to the beech / harbour. We would definitely book again.

spent 7 days here over christmas, very basic hotel not the cleanest in the rooms. didnt have a cleaner for the whole 7 days so no clean towels or bedding. rooms very dusty. pool area crazy if u like fighting for a sun bed ya fine. pool doesnt open until 10 which is terrible when you have kids. food terrible and not much to pick from minimal drinks. nothing for the kids to do at all very boring. hotel more for the OAPs not familys. wouldnt recommend this hotel for familys. on the plus side that bar man was brilliant and very pleasant
