We are here now and the property location is beautiful, the pool area is lovely but we are disappointed at some things. The steakhouse is not open on certain days, the coffee shop is not open and overall it feels like they aren't quite ready for guests. The valet guys are wonderful. The gate attendant was welcoming when we arrived. We used the app to announce our arrival time when asked. We got there at 2:30 and the check in process was pretty smooth. They offer Prosecco while checking in but ours was completely flat. They did replace it with fresh. We were told our room was not ready so we headed to the beach bar. The bartender there was very friendly. Check in is at 4:00 so we expected to hear from someone that our room was ready as it approached 4:00 but didn't hear from anyone. When we went to the desk we were told it still wasn't ready. So now we will try the inside bar. Finally at 4:40, we asked again after still not hearing anything and the person I asked, went to the desk and shortly after we were told our room was ready. We found our way to the elevators but it would have been nice to get direction. We heard about our "butler" from the barmaid and how we would receive help from our "butler" but we never saw nor were we introduced to him/her. The room is lovely, the partial view of the Gulf is beautiful. Our sofa has stains which is surprising for a property of this caliber, especially being brand new. This property is only a month old and it feels as though they have some kinks to work out. This is a luxury property and it was not a luxury experience by any means. Perhaps offering a discounted rate while going through growing pains might be a consideration of management. *Editing review to say that I reached out to the hotel manager while here on site. She responded promptly and appreciated the feedback. I think they will work out the kinks and I appreciate the way in which the manager handled it. That speaks volumes about the brand and is reflective of great service
