Travelodge by Wyndham Long Beach Convention Center

This place itself is just ok, but the location is terrific. Rooms are humid with vague odor of smoke in our non-smoking room. Our toilet broke after one flush but they immediately gave us a different and equivalent room. The bathroom was small and like permanently stained. But at least parking was ample and only $5/night. I think I’d recommend this place to anyone pressed for money and brave

I rented the room 3 nights for my Mother and Sister, they were here visiting me. I got them checked in and no later than an hour passes by and they Ubered back to my apartment, because they refused to stay there, due to how dirty the room and blankets were. So I had to have them stay in small apartment the entire time. Was told room wasn't refundable so I had to pay over $400 for a room no one ever stayed the night in due to how filthy and creep this hotel is.

Great stay great customer service and friendly guests as well

The bed was absolutely junk. The squeaking noise with every move you make, and how hard the bed was was unacceptable. The AC did not work and there was only one towel in the bathroom and the bedroom smelled like cigarette even though we requested a non-smoking room I have stayed at other Travelodge and this is the worst and I would definitely never stay at this facility again there’s so many homeless people screaming outside and other guests are screaming in the rooms that you can hear in the middle of the night a waste of money and junk hotel it should be demolished.

My experience at the Travelodge by Wyndham Convention Center, Long Beach, CA was not so great. It was the only hotel that was available for my colleague and I. When we looked at the website, the rooms in the area did not look bad but after checking in and going up to the room, I was signed. It had an awful cigarette smell even though on the door, it said non-smoking. There was also an ashtray on the desk. I had a two queen size room and pulled the sheets back on one of the beds and they were subpar so I went to the other bed and found hair underneath the sheets and Blood like stains on the sheets. The pillows were also very dingy. The room looked very old and the refrigerator was an awful shape. The walls were dirty and there was also dirt on the floor .The staff was nice enough to move me to another room, and this one did not smell. But I also had an issue with the sheets and found an employee who was able to provide me with some clean bedsheets and pillowcases. The room that I got switched to was a lot better and it had a newer air conditioner which the first one did not have. In fact, the first room had an old air conditioner that had a lot of dirt in it and seemed like it never been clean. I don’t want to badmouth the cleaning staff because it appears that it’s a very small group of Latin people that work hard and do the best that they can with what they have. They were super nice helping with the exchange of sheets and pillowcases in the new room that I was changed to I wish I would’ve read the customers complaints on the website prior to booking this room but like I mentioned, there was nowhere else to go. Another thing that bothers me is that the management staff would respond to peoples concerns and the negative responses with apologies saying that they were addressed the issues. And this was just a month or two ago, but yet the same issues that other customers had the same issues that I came across with my stay. If this hotels is owned by Wyndham Wyndham should invest some money and bring it up to high standards like some of their other hotels are and not just how their management staff give apologies and say they would take care of the manners. This is a very ass accessible location that appears to have a great walk ability score.

The room had a very old smell to it. The elevator had me worried about using it. Also unable to check in inside of an office you’re standing at a window like a cheap motel.

Moldy sheets and roaches in the bathroom. Unhealthy conditions and sketchy people staying there. Didn’t feel safe.

The area being what it is, it was a fair deal for the price. Plenty of decent places to eat in the area. The room was comfortable, but the wood floors were REALLY needed a good cleaning. The staff was pleasant enough that I would consider staying again if the price was right. If you expect to use the pool area you might want to call and ask if it had been cleaned recently. BUT again, the area is what it is, and this Travelodge is ding what it can to make a person comfortable in my opinion.
