Fairfield Inn & Suites London

My classmate and I are from Knoxville, TN. We take nursing classes in Corbin Kentucky and currently doing a clinical rotation at Rockcastle. We have never been around this area and looked into many hotels that would be close to our clinical site. This is our second stay here and last week 10/9/24 we stayed we had a really good experience. The room was very clean, staff were very nice and good on the go breakfast options on our way out the door. This week 10/16/24 we are back. Experience didn’t start out well. Got checked in staff was still very nice and told us to let them know if we needed anything. We get all of our things to the room get our school stuff out to do paperwork for clinicals and study for an exam. I ALWAYS check my bed before sitting on it. It wouldn’t matter where I stayed. Checked the bed hairs and brown crumbs in the bed by the pillows. Of course I called the front desk, I asked if someone could just come change out the bedding that it didn’t look clean. My friend and I went to the lobby to let housekeeping come in and do what they had to and not be in their way, before leaving I remembered a friend of mine that worked as a manager in housekeeping said she always marked the bed sheets to make sure her employees were doing their job. Grabbed a pen a made a tiny mark on both sides of the sheet and we went on down. I asked front desk to let me know when they were done. Got done came back up and what do you know markings still there and they either vacuumed the crumbs off or swept them off. I called the front desk and say hey room *** again I don’t mean to be a bother and complain but I thought you said housekeeping came and he said they did and told me they changed out the bed. I said well I know they didn’t because I marked my sheets on the bed to ensure they were replaced. Housekeeping came back up immediately and we stayed in the room this time to ensure they were changed. The housekeepers were both very sweet but still doesn’t make up for paying and already making this drive from Knoxville to potentially lay in a dirty bed. Next after all said and done and getting paperwork and studying done. My friend goes to shower- dirty rag in the SHOWER still. She comes out and says you are gonna die and shows me and throws it away. IF YOU STAY HERE CHECK YOUR ROOM. Front desk wouldn’t move us rooms due to being fully booked OR we would of requested another room. We thought this was the best hotel on exit 41 but now not so certain, just raising awareness to always check your rooms. As to people take short cuts and don’t realize how nasty it is to not clean a room good before your next PAYING CUSTOMER. As to we are already broke nursing students we thought we were paying for a good place to stay! We have one more clinical day we have to stay up this way and will definitely look into other options :)

My wife and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn on our drive home from Kentucky. The hotel is in a convenient location near I-75. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast in the morning was good. It was the standard continental breakfast at hotels of this category. We enjoyed our stay.

What a nice place. The lobby and sleeping rooms were fresh and vibrant. The bed was comfortable and the shower was perfect with glass doors that sparkled! Front desk clerk was hospitable as were the people working the breakfast buffet (which was standard fare). This was one of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed in, and the hotel staff seems to really care about customer experience.

We were here for a one night stay on our way home. The rooms are clean and the staff is excellent. Breakfast was included in the room rate, with a nice breakfast area. Added breakfast touch was that had pre bagged breakfast to go. Would definitely stop here again.

The service was mediocre “meh” at best. The desk staff were young and didn’t provide the type of service I expect from a Marriott property. No special greeting as a Platinum Elite customer. The power went out in the room overnight. In the morning when we called the desk, the woman said, okay I’ll flip the switch. No apology.

This is a fabulously well-maintained clean hotel with a friendly staff. If you’re sensitive to noise ask that you be located on the opposite side of the hotel away from the trampoline facility next-door. Rooms on that side will experience ceaseless drumbeats until 10 PM each night.

I didn't visit in 2023, I came here in 2021. It's just you can't pick before 2023 and it's required! Too expensive, but amazing place to be. Out of all, this is the best. Place is beautiful and right in town off I-75. Sucks that I went during COVID. Food places around here good. If you do not like sketchy motels, come here (it's just more expensive).

Travelling to Florida on New Year’s Eve, I called the hotel to check availability. I was surprised when the call was answered by a friendly voice “Blake” he was helpful, advised he would hold a room for us, however he would not be at the hotel when he arrived but would have “ Nate” help us at check in. Nate was also friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean, king suite spacious, large breakfast area with a good selection and a friendly attendant.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Bacon was great! My husband had bacon and eggs. We had a chocolate muffin also with orange juice. Very good quick breakfast before continuing on with our trip. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
