Ein schönes Gebäude, atmosphärisch und alt, mit einem großen Blick auf Loch Ness - wirklich das Beste sein muss. Das Hotel ist ein wenig alt und müde. Die 4-Poster Suite ist das Beste im Hotel, aber braucht und upgrade. Das Essen braucht auch eine vollständige Umstellung. Urteil: ein schönes Hotel, das große Investitionen und Modernisierung benötigt. Buchen Sie über eine Reise-Website, da die Hotelgebühren zu hoch sind.

We arrived late in the day to be greeted by the reception team they were very helpful. The room (14) was very basic and it was not very clean. The bathroom had lots of long dark hairs in the bath and sink with no cleaning stuff to sort out. We had 2 single beds which were adequate, both clean and comfortable. Location great just needs a really good clean

Es ging um unsere Tochter, die in Bangor Uni ist, zu überraschen, blieb in diesem ultra freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Hotel. Sie gingen über einen weiteren auf Antrag meines Mannes. Kochte Frühstück erstaunlich, viel Essen sogar Abendessen, das war so reichhaltig, geschmackvoll und gut wert. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß. Restaurant über blickt Pier & kann Menai Bridge sehen. Schön gebraten Wales am besten. Def wieder gehen.

Wir haben hier für eine Nacht am Anfang unserer 11-Nacht-Pause geblieben, um die Küste von Anglesey zu Fuß und für eine Nacht am Ende unseres Urlaubs. Wir haben hier vor etwa einem Jahr geblieben, während wir die Welsh-Küste-Pfad laufen. Die gute Sache - Wir blieben beide Nächte im Zimmer 3 (und das war das gleiche Zimmer, das wir vorher geblieben hatten!). Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel, großartig Bett und großartig Dusche. Alles, was Sie für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt brauchen Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und angenehmen Das Abendessen im Restaurant war schön Die Dinge, die verbessert werden könnten- Wenn wir vor einem Jahr verblieben, war das Frühstück einer der besten, die wir auf unserem Urlaub hatten - leider kann das gleiche für diese Zeit nicht gesagt werden. Die erste Nacht, die wir zum Frühstück verblieben, wurde im Rezeptionsbereich serviert und das heiße Essen war in Metallbehältern mit Schrauben und das Personal ließ die Schrauben aufheben, um selbst zu bedienen. Das Essen war am besten durchschnittlich und fühlte sich wie wir in einer Schulkantine waren! Die zweite Nacht, die wir für diesen Urlaub geblieben haben, wurde etwas verbessert, da der Sitz wieder zum Restaurant und eine viel schönere Erfahrung. Das Essen war etwas besser, da es besser vorgestellt und richtig erwärmt war. Wir hatten vor unseren Urlaub gepostet, um zu fragen, ob es möglich wäre, unser Auto im Park für die Dauer unseres Urlaubs zu verlassen. Wir erhielten ein „keine Entschuldigung“, so dass wir am Ende unsere Auto auf einer Straße in der Nähe verließen, aber das Personal, mit dem wir auf der Rezeption gesprochen hatten, dachte nicht, es wäre ein Problem, aber wie wir vorher gesagt hatten, es war nicht möglich, wir fühlten uns nicht komfortabel, es im Autopark zu verlassen. Das sagten wir - wir würden wieder im Allgemeinen bleiben, wenn wir nach Bangor zurückgehen.

We chose the location as we visited the island several years ago on our last trip to wales, we only had 1/2 day there and wanted to spend more time exploring the area. Bishopsgate house hotel ticked all the boxes on paper and didn't disappoint us. We received a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in room 4 at the top of the this beautiful old town house, under a multi sloaping roof which gave the space a quirky but cosy feel. We even got a view over the meni straight to Snowdonia from our little window. Due to the available roof space the sink was in the room rather than the ensuite (hubby was a little freaked out by this to start with - but it wasn't a problem) there was plenty of hot water for showers. The bed was comfy and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. The WiFi was good which helped us plan our days and we were able to locate some amazing ancient sighs to visit, and plan a couple of days out off the island. As we travelled by car, parking is a requirement for us, normally we end up staying further inland to secure accomodation with carparking. The car park is quite tight but can accommodate guests as long as everyone is considerate and parks well. We always managed to get into a space but it often took a lot of going back an forth to get the car into and out of the space. Breakfast was amazing, and set us up for a day of exploring. We ate in the restaurant 1 evening and the food was amazing! The location was great a a good base for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for the weekend what a lovely place the staff are very welcoming and friendly.We stayed in the lodge but I must stress this is an annexe which is a series of self contained flat has spectacular views we stayed on the ground floor you have a decked area to sit on and relax.Parking is just past the entrance to the chateau as it is very tight at reception so would recommend parking there.We had the meal in the restaurant good choice and fixed price for 3 courses the food was really good.You can explore this lovely chateau only thing I found difficult was finding your way around something like a leaflet showing the different areas the bar restaurant etc. All in all a lovely break breakfast is lovely and only a short walk from your lodge.
