I stayed in room 437, a room I was told was renovated. I was not horrified, since I did not see any bedbugs, but I immediately regretted choosing your hotel. The thermostat's batteries needed to be immediately changed. The thermostat was not working due to dead batteries. Thankfully, Alexis immediately came to the room and changed the batteries; something I thought housekeeping would check when cleaning the room. The room was not clean. There were a few dark hairs on the sheets, including the fitted sheet. Alexis provided two extra bath towels for me to sleep on top of to avoid the sheets. While she was in the room changing the thermostat's batteries, I showed Alexis the dismal renovation results. I told her the manager should be aware and should be checking the work that was done, especially since it was substandard work. The bathroom door, door jambs, and baseboards had many dark, large marks on them. They were not painted. The walls that were painted were shoddy work. There were paint spots on the 'new' tile and carpet, the latter of which looked filthy. The shower had grime/scum, yellow and brown in color along the bottom and sides of the shower stall. I asked Alexis to cancel my reservation for the next night; I could not stay there another night. I stood on a hand towel when I showered in the morning. In the morning, I reported there was no hair dryer. A hair dryer was still not provided. I went to a nearby hotel at 0900, to view a room. I reserved a room there, returned to your hotel, and checked-out i=of your hotel at 10 a.m. It was a horrible experience. I wrote to the hotel manager 10 days ago, and have not received a reply.
