Liverpool Aigburth Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

We booked our stay in October 2022 for this next week May 12th 2023 The Hotel then canaled our booking without any notice. This has left us stuck with no where to stay! I will never recommend this hotel

Very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Room was very outdated. Premium price paid. Mattress was in need of replacement. Very uncomfortable. No cleaning service to room for duration of stay. Staff pleasant.

Paid a little extra to stay in the Superior Executive Room with great views across Sefton Park. Well worth it. The bath was luxurious, the water pressure from the shower was top notch and the staff are excellent.

Lovely hotel with friendly efficient staff, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very nice overlooking Sefton Park. Secure parking which is good. Breakfast was £10 extra but well worth it. Everything you can eat, it’s self service, there was bacon, sausage, fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, beans. Croissants, Danish pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, toast, jam, marmalade, honey, even marmite, fruit juices, coffee and teas, even a great selection of fruit and green teas. The hotel is not far from Lark Lane which is full of bars, cafes and restaurants.

A fantastic stay at Liverpool Aigburth Hotel... The manager of the hotel was brilliant, and almost like an old friend - And the rest of the staff was smiling and helpful. We were 4 friends visiting Liverpool for the first time. We will come back - And we hope there will be room at this old and magnificent place. Room was a little dated, but staff were fabulous, accommodating and 'happy'. I stay in Liverpool frequently for work, normally staying right in the city by the water, but a bad experience demanded a change. This hotel is opposite Sefton Park, which I took an early morning walk around and is close to shops and bars. Breakfast was cooked to order and a tasty omelette provided, self serve cereals, toast, coffees etc. Very attractive hotel frontage. In the room (28) the heating pipes were very noisy throughout the night, they ran right behind the bed. The room was clean, but basic and dated, even though it was an executive room booking. However what makes this place is the team and Tim the manager, great attitudes, which can be lacking in bigger hotels. Fantastic choice of bars and eateries just 5 mins walk away.
