Almiriki Chios Rooms & Apartments

This was our first trip to Chios and we wanted accommodation with an on site pool and proximity to a beach. The hotel is well organized and the beach across the street is nice, sandy and shallow. The amenities in the room are nice- Apivita products, robes, slippers. Breakfast in my opinion was sufficient but maybe because I don’t usually eat breakfast on vacation. There were pastries, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, nuts. They provide really nice beach towels but be warned, people stake out their spots on the beach pretty early. The staff is pretty pragmatic, not friendly and just down to business which is fine. Not exactly sure what room type we had but it was small, yet comfortable. Bathroom was surprisingly spacious for Greece. My only true gripe was that they had restrictive hours for the pool. My hope was that I could do morning laps for exercise but they claimed there was pool cleaning from 8-11. And on my arrival day, they cordoned it off in the middle of the afternoon right when I wanted to take a dip. Granted it’s not a huge pool so trying to get a real workout in was likely not going to happen, but it was just weird. All that said, I would return but would hope for a larger room. The location and proximity to the beach and good tavernas was ideal. (Though no mini market or grocery store)

We have spent a week in Almiriki. It is family friendly and quiet. The staff was very kind and professinal. Thanks to Stathis for his kindness and good service in restaurant and beach service. Also thanks to Lena, Maria and Olga. The food was good and the room was clean. The sea was excellent. We higly recommend the hotel.

The Almiriki Hotel is an absolutely great place to stay. Marvelous! My family (five of us) stayed at the Almiriki from 21 to 25 June 2024. We had the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with sea view, and one other room. The place was immaculate. Very clean. My wife and kids loved it. Staff is wonderful. Especially Maria on the front desk. She was so helpful. All of the staff were so very friendly. Breakfasts were very good and the beach is outstanding. It has a great spot on the seashore and beautiful sea. The seaside bar is excellent. The staff are very service oriented too. You will love it here. We did! We'll be back hopefully next year.

We attended a friend’s wedding in Chios and chose this hotel based on recommendations. Stephanie was very quick to respond to emails and arranged our cab to and from the airport. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I’ve been fortunate to travel to 83 countries and Stephanie and her staff are absolutely top notch! Food was great, beach was right there, and Stephanie had a lot of great recommendations. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay, this is a great choice!

Nice small place, just across the water, perfect for families with little kids as the water is shallow. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing for just relaxing, nearby a few very good local restaurants and that is all. We got a personal hand-written welcome note and that made all the difference. Thank you!

The hotel was truely a gem on the beautiful island of Chios. It sits on one of the best beaches which offers crystal clear water and a sandy beach. The hotel itself is very well decorated and maintained with top notch staff. I cannot thank enough the Almiriki team who welcomed us at their place and did their best to make our stay a blast! I will certainly come back.

Booked this property as a surprise for my daughters family, we requiring two rooms. My wife and I had room 205 Rose and daughter had Orchid suite. Our room was on lower floor with good sea view as wife has had two knees replaced. Daughter on upper floor with sea view and huge balcony which we all took advantage of. Contacted hotel direct and Stephanie arranged the rest. Stephanie picked us up from airport and dropped us off on return journey. They can also arrange taxi for you. We wanted accommodation with a pool and right by a sandy beach - easier to walk on as the island has mostly pebble / cobbles beaches. Our room to sand, I kid you not was 30 seconds. Perfect. First class breakfast, really suited our expectations and immaculately clean. Very good bar / refreshment area opposite beach and right by our room. Beach is very clean and the hotel supply sunbeds, which you don't have get up at 5am to secure. Towels for beach provided by hotel. You will find Stephanie on the beach close to you often. We had a problem where grandson had a ear infection. It required attention, Stephanie drove the family to the islands health centre and the treatment received was excellent. The Greeks know how important children and families are. Overall, a first class stay and for us, worthy of the five stars. Thank you Stephanie (and dad) and to your ever so polite and helpful staff. Look forward to a return.

I first visited this hotel in 2019. Since then only covid pandemic kept me away for a year.. i will be going back year after year .. this place is so friendly and relaxing.. Fantasic view, food is perfect everywhere on the beach. Clean and well maintained rooms, but most of all what makes the difference is the staff.. so friendly and willing to help ! hope to be back soon !
