Sailor Jack Oceanfront Motel

Nice updated room. Great ocean views and access. Several people busy painting and keeping-up the site. Front desk people were very helpful and accommodating when we couldn’t put e-bikes in the room but needed them to be secure - locked them in the check-in lobby then met us the next morning before office hours so we could get our bikes. Great experience and would happily stay here again.

Sailor Jack's is one of the cleanest places we have stayed. The ocean view from the room is amazing and there's a beautiful sandy beach to walk on. They also have a nice patio in front with gas fires to sit and enjoy the view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

newly renovated water front property. List of surprises - value/price, modern Reno/Art work, comfortable bed, furniture, quality thru out, continental breakfast/high quality, quiet location! Three floor no elevator, we stay on the third floor for two night for the best view.

Nice little room. Hot tub was great! Fireplace was not working properly but other than that it was prefect for a week day get away. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy. The view from the deck was incredible, and it was elevated enough to give privacy from people walking on the beach.

What a pleasant surprise. When I booked the room the price was almost too good to be true for an ocean front room. We were very surprised. The room was nice, big, clean, and modern with fantastic view. There’s no closet but plenty of space to store your luggage and items. Had a nice Kuerig type coffee machine that you usually don’t see in a 2.5 star hotel. A good size mini-fridge and a microwave as well. The bathroom even had a bidet. We didn’t bring our dog but good to know this is a dog friendly hotel. Would definitely recommend

What a great relaxing view from the picture window. Loved the 2 chairs and table looking out to the ocean. Clean rooms, ocean sound and great front desk. Will definitely stay again. Thanks for a great stay

We’ve stayed here many times & loved it each & every time. It’s a good value, great location & until this trip, the staff was lovely. I’ll try to make this quick. The day after we checked in our door was opened- no knock, no verbal announcement- just opened the door, which wouldn’t have been a huge issue EXCEPT for the fact that my underage child was standing in his underage underwear in the middle of the room. Whomever opened the door closed it just as quickly, again, without a word. No apology, no oopsie daisy, nothing. When my child was fully clothed, I went to the office to tell them what happened & the lady (the one everyone clearly loves so much) acted like I told her there was a fly in the room. She was less than interested, didn’t ask a single question & definitely didn’t offer an apology. I was absolutely shocked by her lack of concern & seriously, if I wanted to make this a big deal I certainly could. Still. Fortunately for SJ’s I’m not that kind of human. I’d much rather they take responsibility, properly train their staff & perhaps show a bit of compassion & competence. Oh & stop deleting this review!

This property is amazing. 2nd time in 3 yrs staying here. Quiet location,all rooms beach side, this time we chose king standard room. Beautiful room, microwave and fridge are in entertainment center which keeps it quiet and not cluttered. Everything new. Bathroom excellent even has heated Toto bidet seat. No elevator but good steps. Dog friendly-they even provide dog cover and dog towel. Nice 1st floor level shared deck area but beach is down 50 feet which turns out good because it's more private on deck that way.

This property was divine. Great room, comfy bed and awesome view of the ocean and beach. Had a room with fireplace, hot water with super pressure.They were great hosts offering dvds for rent, and cannot wait to go back!
