The House｜Forest Coffee Theme Hotel

This place is a gem! The location is great, a 10 min walk to Li Jiang old town (we won’t recommend staying inside the old town because it gets too noisy at night) and is right outside the Black Dragon Pool Park, especially helpful if you want to catch sunrise. This accommodation is close to the main road so no trouble getting pick ups/ drop offs from taxis. Service is excellent - you will have one staff tagged to you so you can receive personalized help, guides on where to visit and eat, and even have activities like tea appreciation. 大山 was the staff assigned to me and my family and he was amazing! He brought us around the old town the day we arrived and suggested places to shop and eat. Throughout our stay, he also helped arrange for a visit to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and even packed breakfast for us to bring along as we had an early start to the day. He also checked in on us while we were out to make sure we were safe and didn’t get affected by altitude sickness. During our stay, the breakfast (typically noodles or porridge with a spread of side dishes and soy milk), afternoon tea, and night dessert were lovely touches to make us feel so pampered! The room was very clean and spacious, and whenever we required any refills for necessities or toiletries the staff would promptly provide. If you wish to relax in the compounds, the staff would have tea sessions with you where you can learn more about the Yunnan Pu’er tea or just chat! There are open seating areas for you to relax as well. Coffee (Americano, latte etc.) is available and made upon request. Highly recommend this place to stay to all!

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed it Hotel 10/10 Rooms are luxurious, spacious and unique. Balcony has views of the gardens and you can see the pet rabbit running around below. Overall the hotel is extremely well designed. Service 10/10 The staff were all amazing. There is a group chat that you can text into with any requests or problems. They reply promptly and are helpful. The level of English is pretty good. Food 8/10 Fruit and coffee are delivered or available anytime. Breakfast is large and better than most hotels or guesthouses, although it's similar fare to most. Coffee is local and good. There is also a late night snack.

I recently stayed at this amazing hotel for two days, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the beautiful attractions in Lijiang. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I had the pleasure of working directly with Dashan, the tour planner, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us around the town and made our experience even more memorable. Despite the languaguge barerar his trying his best to understand and communicate well with us. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met. I particularly enjoyed. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay. I can’t wait to return!

Excellent location, within walking distance to the ancient town but away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The service we received was very good. We were able to arrange a free walking tour of the ancient town and a very insightful tea experience. The breakfast and the afternoon tea set was delicious. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore Lijiang.

Location of hotel was great, beside Black Dragon Pool and within 10min walk to Lijiang Old Town! Staff were very friendly and helpful - providing consultation for trip planning, arranging transportation and readily answering queries / providing assistance. Free walking tour to Lijiang Old Town and other activities were also available. Special thanks to 大山 and 小木 for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

The hotels location is perfect as it’s close enough to the ancient town, and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists and noise. We had the room on the top floor that was just a magical view of of the tops of the buildings with beautiful roofs. The staff are so very friendly and helpful, they organised day trips to the mountains and gave us an abundance of delicious local iced coffee local lattes that helped with the heat. The hotel is absolutely stunning and it’s just perfect for relaxing. Another plus was the adorable furry rabbits hopping around in the courtyard nibbling on the grass and cloves that covered the yard. I honestly can’t wait to go back! Amazing experience all round! 10/10!!! Excuse the lack of photos of the full hotel, the trip was so amazing it’s hard to not experience in person

Well maintained hotel with an amazing location. Short walk to the main city area was a bonus whilst being able to enjoy the peace. Very calming, coupled with an amazing scenic view. Staff wise, especially 大山, very energetic and knowlegeable. Not forgetting his other colleagues as well, they were all ready to help in a moments notice. Anyone who is planning to come to Lijiang, this is a must stay.

I love this hotel, very serene albeit in the busy old town area. Everything is meticulously planned and the stay was very comfortable. Coffee was good too!

My friend and I stayed for 5 days and had a lovely time. The staff were very attentive, the rooms clean, breakfast filling, and the inner courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. One of the managers helped us get tickets for a few attractions/shows and gave food recommendations nearby. The location is really convenient as well; we were right next door to one of the entrances for HeiLongTan 黑龙潭公园 (Black Dragon Pool Park), where we paid 50 kuai each and were told we had unlimited re-entry for the next 7 days. To get to Old LiJiang Town is just a 5-10 minute walk straight south along the canal that runs beside the hotel. It’s really picturesque. The hotel courtyard has a central counter with tea and coffee, and there are complementary tea and coffee classes, as well as free soup in the evening. I really can’t overstate how lovely the stay was. I can’t wait to bring family here next time they visit me in China.
