TownePlace Suites Lexington Keeneland/Airport

This hotel continues to impress me whenever we travel elsewhere. You all are my standard that I go by in judging all other hotels! I believe that it all starts from top down....Sebastian is the best! Front desk staff is consistently present (not hiding in the back), courteous and eager to please. The facility is immaculate! Hallways, stairways, lobby and elevators are very clean. Garbage is removed in a timely manner. Housekeeping is visible and available. Rooms are clean and comfortable....although could be updated. Breakfast is quite good with many choices. Location is awesome. We come here twice a year for the Keeneland Meets. Looking forward to our return in October!! Thank you for being amazing!!

This was my 2nd time staying here. The rooms have always been clean. The complimentary breakfast is always fair. They always have a non-pork option. The best part of coming here is the customer service. Both times that I have stayed, I have had the pleasure of interacting with Latrice Winn. She has got to be the most pleasant person to deal with. She always has a smile on her face. The 1st time I stayed, my child dropped my necklace and I didn’t know until we got to the event we came for. I called the hotel and she had the housekeeping staff to look for it. They found it and she put it up for me until my sister was able to pick it up. I didn’t check in with her but she was there when I checked out and she was just as pleasant as the first time. I would stay here over and over again. Not only is this location very close and convenient to the airport but I have not had a bad experience with the front desk staff. This last time that I stayed, Kevin Naiser won me over! Our flight was delayed so I couldn’t reach my family to stay with them. I had driven around for a few hours trying to find somewhere safe for me and my child to sleep. I arrived at the hotel around 4a to see if I could check in on my reservation that was that Saturday night. He allowed me & my child to sit in the lobby until we were able to check in on my reservation! He was very welcoming and patient with us while sitting there. It was such a relief having somewhere safe inside to go.

A spectacular experience from beginning to end. From the welcome provided by Dalton and Brock, to the care taken at breakfast and upon departure it was truly seamless and a direct reflection of the GM, Sebastian and his dedication to providing exceptional service; unmatched. The facility is incredibly well-kept and clearly consistently cared for with pride. We were there on the weekend and the hotel owner had even stopped in on Saturday morning to check on the staff. You could tell they were not only comfortable, but grateful to have him there to support them and that spoke volumes to me. Breakfast was a well-balanced and full spread and included in the rate, and the location was in a lovely area of Lexington with shopping and dining options throughout the business park. It is just one exit from the mall if you are looking for more options as well. It makes it a great option for both business and leisure travel and I would definitely stay again for any occasion. Keep up the great work and be proud of your team!

Were nasty to me because I had an ESA with me and tried to illegally charge me for her. Aggressive and hostile towards women traveling alone. Rooms were ok at best. Staff was awful and aggressive. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

We stayed here for two nights in October, and in general found the hotel to be acceptable (the "suites" means you have a full kitchen"). The rooms were average, but I am moving up to 3.75 stars due to the friendly check-in and the availability of multiple warm egg dishes at breakfast. Housekeeping is offered every other day, so I cannot comment on that. Walking distance to Kroger's (with Starbucks inside) and other places to grab a coffee or snacks if you don't want to use the car. Would stay here if I came to Lexington again if the rate was good, since other than the warm eggs and check-in the hotel was average

Very clean and fantastic front desk help. The two people working the front desk on Sunday, October 29 were fantastic. Great location with grocery store and many restaurants close to hotel. The full kitchens are super!

With one exception, our stay was perfect & flawless. I will document the one issue first. We had a 2 night stay & I requested housekeeping service from front desk. Clerk on duty explained that they did not routinely provide for a 2 night stay, but if it was really necessary, she would see what she could do. I asked if we could just receive fresh towels to which she responded she would log the request. Upon returning in the evening from our full day out, I was expecting clean towels and hoping beds had been made. First observation was unmade beds, a trip into bathroom found only used towels. An immediate call to front desk with explanation to different front desk staff resulted in an apology and towels at our door in 5 minutes, I made up the beds myself! Now all the good of this property. Phenomenal breakfast, from selection to quality and the staff maintaining breakfast area was among the best I have ever observed. Rooms and common areas are well maintained. Great location for Keeneland Raceway. Nice outdoor fire-pit area which we took advantage of both October evenings. An adequate number of restaurants in immediate area. Good experience with Uber service to & from downtown Lexington. The hotel had high occupancy during our stay but was incredibly quiet. Would definitely stay at this property in the future.

First stay at a TownPlace but it will not be the last! Simple, friendly check-in, spotless, attractive room, plenty of well-thought out amenities within the room, including a full size fridge. My favorite part was the bed. I have had back pain for years, every morning. But not the morning I woke up at TownPlace. That was the first time in years I have slept well and awoke without pain! I must find out what kind of mattress and bedding was on that bed. I've tried asking the front desk, a manager, and the shopMarriott website, but still no luck.

Friendly check in with Dalton, upgraded (Gold) which was nice. Quiet, modern hotel. Slept great, tried pool but was too cold really to enjoy for me. Lots of breakfast choices. Only complaint was despite switching a/c off in our room the fan continued and is like 6 inches from the bed so a constant noise and draught whilst sleeping so I made my husband take that side of the bed. Quite annoying as ‘off’ on the wall control should mean ‘off’.
