Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lexington

Asked ourselves here for 5 days at the Masters and it worked very well. Clean and tidy although very basic - it gave us all we needed for a comfortable stay. Good restaurant options nearby you can walk to, plenty of parking at rear of hotel, will be back if in area.

Not Holiday Inn anymore, called Lexigton Inn and Suites. Currently being refurbished, pool was closed. 1 night stay for business. Very little choice at breakfast. Terrible old style rooms with bad smell. Quiet place however, just behind main road.

We ended up at the hotel after a debacle with another hotel during the Masters tournament. Needless to say there was no room at any inn near Augusta for less than a thousand dollars a night. We were overjoyed to find this hotel-- an updated gem with stellar service from the front desk receptionists who happily booked us last minute rooms at a very fair price to the housekeeping staff who allowed a late check out. The rooms are quite large with nice finishes and lighting. The bathroom is spacious and updated. There are multiple seating options in the room, king bed so comfortable, plus great TV, mini fridge, microwave and Keurig, a hair dryer and amenities. The breakfast was out of this world and more deluxe than any free breakfast I've ever experienced in a hotel. Think sweet rolls, muffins, cereal, pancakes and waffles made to order yourself, fruit, oatmeal with fixings, sausage, bacon, every bagel and bread you could want, etc. Delicious coffee! Ooh! And their indoor pool was lovely, perfect for a small dip Delighted to have found this South Carolina diamond. Wonderful job to all at this hotel in the sweet town of Lexington.

Comfy bed, lovely glassed in shower, and breakfast had more variety than most with an automatic pancake machine, whole grain bread option for toast, yogurt, variety of juices, warm cinnamon buns, muffins, bagels, some form of eggs, sausages, sausage patties or bacon, porridge and sometimes grits or biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately, the hotel is often inundated by kids' baseball teams staying there. They showed up the weekend of our stay and stayed in the breakfast room for 2 hours and ate all of the food so that other hotel guests were met with empty dishes. The kids played and ran in the halls half the night and the parents stood there glaring at us and acting like their kids were a gift to the human race, when we said that they should be quiet in the hallways. I've never before encountered such rude people during our travels. The hotel is not soundproof at all and we heard the squalling baby next door to us, the guests in the bathroom next to us, and everything from the hallway. We stayed for a week and there is nowhere to place your things or unpack other than 2 huge drawers under the suitcase benches. The night tables have no drawers. The bathroom had a nice big vanity but no shelf under it. The guest laundry had one machine of each and cost $2 each. Overall the hotel hallways and elevators were dirty and even our room rarely had its floor vacuumed and the bathroom floor was never wet mopped during our stay. We were told room service wasn't offered every day but they were willing to provide clean towels. We found most of the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a decent sized indoor pool and an exercise room. Our room had a one cup Keurig coffee machine, a very small microwave and a digital room safe. The iron and ironing board were out of sight behind a door at the back side of the closet. There were USB ports in the room for charging electronics. The water was turned off one day without advance warning. Don't rely on the tag that you can place outside the door. It says that you aren't ready for room service. We placed it one morning as we don't like to be disturbed early but removed it just before noon. The housekeeper took it to mean that we didn't want our room serviced and she didn't return as they were busy that day. Overall the hotel seemed to be very short staffed.

We just stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family and attending our Two Granddaughters graduation from River Bluff High School. Do not let the picture on this site fool you, this is a Holiday Inn Express, just entirely reconditioned this past March. The hotel , rooms, lobby, and property is immaculate. The staff, from management to lobby staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts each morning were also very good . My wife and I travel a lot the past 5 years and stay at many Holiday Inns, and this is at the top of our list. Will stay here again and also recommend to anyone looking for a great motel in the Lexington SC area !

Absolutely EVERYTHING was exceptional!! The entire staff was wonderful. The room was the cleanest I had ever encountered. The breakfast was great. There is nothing I can think of to improve my stay. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Rooms are very clean and welcoming. The beds are so comfortable you sleep deeply. The hot breakfast has an abundance of choices - 2 flavors of waffles, omelets, sausage, juices, biscuits, fruit, pastries, oatmeal, and delicious coffee. The breakfast staff is very accommodating. The staff is helpful and friendly yet they take care of anything you might need

I stayed here as part of a group convention. The rooms are great; not only are they comfortable but I observed no smells or matters of uncleanliness in my room or any others I entered. The breakfast I’d rate as pretty good. The service is fantastic, and by this I mean the women who work the front desk are stellar. Angel helped a couple of the older members of our group work out technical issues for a meeting. Above all Halie is an absolute delight, incredibly competent and attentive to detail, and our interactions definitely elevated my stay. I can see why the property is so highly rated.

Golf buddies traveling to Masters for couple nights' stay at this downtown Lexington property. Friendly efficient staff at check-in and very clean property. Dual-bed room on 4th (top) floor was very clean, nice seating area with sofa and chair, microwave and mini-refrigerator, ample storage including in-room safe. TV located more for viewing from beds but can be turned toward seating area; lots of channels with collegiate sports but surprising not golf. Room included a few added power outlets with USB ports, and the WiFi connection was good. Ample parking lot behind building with key-card access entry on lower level, with elevator service to all floors. Free breakfast included make-your-own waffles and selection of hot items including eggs, biscuits, sausage, along with selection of cold cereals, fruit, yogurt, breads, coffee and juices. Adequate seating area for breakfast. Would consider if staying in area again.
