Burton Lodge Guest House & Spa

We stayed in the Bothy lodge last night and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a little escape! We absolutely loved it, the hot tub was amazing and all staff we met were lovely and helpful. Especially the guy that checked us in (sorry we didn’t catch your name) but he showed us round and made sure we had somewhere to eat that evening. The little touches in the lodge just made it, the complimentary tea/coffee and refreshments in the mini fridge. Breakfast this morning was lovely, we chose our options upon arrival and this was ready for us exactly at the time we requested it for, in a very peaceful conservatory/dining area. My only criticism would be that the sofa in the room could do to be a tad comfier if you wanted somewhere to sit and relax in the room and the open gate maybe could have done to be a little more private when you are relaxing in the hot tub! But overall it was a fab stay and I will be recommending to friends and family. Little gem you’ve got there!

What a little gem of a place this is , set in beautiful surroundings this place is such a relaxing place to go. Our room was done to high standard a mixture of old features with a modern twist. The king size bed was so comfortable, the shower was amazing. The tea/ coffee had everything you needed , breakfast was lovely set in a room overlooking some of the garden . All though we didn't go in the swimming pool or spa this is s fab addition to the guest house definitely go in next time . Amazing staff couldn't do enough for us , looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely place, room was nicely furnished and spacious. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and looked onto the lovely garden. We both organised spa treatments, there was plenty of option and it was a really nice addition to our get away. 10/10 would return in the future. This hotel is located in a village just outside the market town of Beverley, a few minutes drive to town or a few miles from the coast . Beautifully kept premises within a lovely garden setting adjacent to the local golf course. Rooms are extremely comfortable , spacious and spotless and offer everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Team members are very welcoming and helpful Breakfast was varied and offered a good size full English from tasty local produce . Overall a great find in a lovely setting at a very competitive price . Highly recommend!

Excellent, excellent, excellent Me and my husband were visiting an uncle and aunty in leven and decided to stay here. The whole lodge, our room and the pool were exceptionally immaculate. Service was excellent from all the staff including the owners Ian & Emma. The breakfast also lush. We will definitely be making a return visit!!!!! Thank yooo “The Wilson’s” from Newcastle

Beautifully clean, spacious and quiet rooms. All with ensuite and tea making facilities. Honesty bar in lounge was a useful addition and owners kindly came down with bottle of wine when we rang them as there was none left. The pool area and spa was enjoyed by my son and his girlfriend. It is situated in a very tranquil part of the village, near a golf course and walking distance to Bert's Pizzeria. Excellent facilities, highly recommend

Quality of facilities are very good with particular note of the spa and pool. I am very interested in golf and the Lodge's back gate opens onto the first tee and practice ground of the Hainsworth golf course. After a tough couple of year, the Hainsworth is now in super condition. Its absolutely beautiful with great greens. Its a family run business and the the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The owner has let this place go to rack and ruin since his wife died a few years ago. It’s an absolute disgrace and should not be allowed to trade. It’s a death trap. Old dumpers, forktrucks, diggers. Caravans. Cars etc all littered around the site, it’s a disgrace. Dirty facilities. Dirty waste disposal. Dirty mops in showers / toilets. No ladies sanitary disposal bind. Everything is closed and falling to bits. The local council should close it down. The owner should be ashamed of himself. It’s nothing like advertised. DO NOT GO, it should be shutdown. Other reviews must have been made by friends and family of the owner. DISGRACEFUL….

We have just stayed there for a couple of nights. It is a lovely guest house and the gentlemen working there was very polite, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and they provided a cot too. The pool was lovely and we had it to ourselves twice. The location is quiet and peaceful but also close enough to drive to a number of attractions. A lovely place to stay.
