This was a horrible stay. I checked in on the 24th and when I got to my room the refrigerator did not work so I called down to the front and they were supposed to send somebody up and they never did. I paid a little extra to check out the next day for 4:00 p.m. On the morning of the 25th I was sitting at the table getting ready to go down for breakfast at 8:30 in the morning and my door opened up in housekeeping was walking in while I was getting dressed she turned around and walked out I was like *** so I put the do not clean tag on the door that I did not want them coming into my room so I continue to get dressed and went down for breakfast then so done shopping and enjoy the day. I came back up to my room at 3:30 to get ready to check out and I was approached by the housekeeping manager who informed me that housekeeping went back to my room and started cleaning it. they touched my personal items and everything. I was shocked I told him I had the tag on the door,why are they entering my room when I don't want them to and he had nothing else to say except sorry she probably didn't read it. I asked him do you guys not know when a guest purchases a late checkout and he said no . my privacy has been violated and I will never stay here again I told the front desk and they didn't care

Awful outdated, loud AF, smelly rooms. Not as advertised! Bathroom was tiny. No two vanities in the same bathroom as shown in the picture. Did I mention outdated?! The only reason I gave it a 2 rating is because the ac was pumping, which I love. Set to morgue! However, would never come back here!!

Don’t stay here if you expect what they advertise to be true! We booked a king suite with “amazing views of the majestic Connecticut Forest”. What we find is majestic views of the roof of a building with ac units, worker walkways, and “views” of some trees. I’m not sure how they are able to continue to advertise these rooms with these descriptions. Went to front desk to talk with someone and Ingrid was rude and combative from the start. She should have remedial customer service training. Declined our ask to speak with a manager. Also she said “well you don’t come here for the views anyway”. I’m shaking my head thinking no I’m here to play and spend money and I could’ve done that in a cheaper room. We have stayed at Fox tower numerous times and while the front desk people are pretty cold at least you have a decent room. Our rooms there have much better views for less $. This also doesn’t even take into account the very outdated design, decor, and furnishings of the room. I would never choose to stay here again and will not even come back to stay at Foxwoods since they apparently don’t care about guests.

Hotel reminded me of a motel, was not worth the crazy amount of money we paid. Also we booked a non smoking room and when we checked in they overbooked so they gave us a smoking room and it was disgusting. Overall terrible experience and won’t be going back.

Overpriced...outdated...bad customer service! The room was extremely outdated--the thermostat looked like it was from the 70s, the hairdryer was a crappy folding hairdryer from the 90s, and we couldn't get the shower to work. I called the front desk multiple times...zero response. Upon checkout, I explained the shower situation, hoping for any sort of compensation. I was rudely told that we had to 'pull it away from the wall'...which we did. She explained "we should put up signs so people know how to turn on the shower...but we don't". She then rudely asked if I called the front desk...I did. She was entirely unhelpful and rude. Needless to say I walked away FUMING. Would never advise anyone to stay in this tower. For the cost, I expect better than a Red Roof Inn!

I wish I had read the other reviews before booking this place. It was the worst. Bad customer service, the room that I paid $384.99 for one night was a smoking room. I booked well in advanced only to be told upon arrival was "The smoking rooms are all we have left". A take it or leave it type of response. The room itself was seriously smoky and dated. We had a 1992 ipod/clock alarm docking station and not one USB port to charge our phones. Our room view was just as bad, it was directly adjacent to the rooftop and all the rooftop equipment like the air conditioning units, seagulls and trash. We couldn't even crack open a window to let some fresh air in. Any hope of relaxing and enjoying our room had completely gone south. As other reviewers have stated the rooms need serious upgrades, with worn carpet and dated amenities. I feel like the folks at Foxwood Hotels don't care if guest are unhappy they just want their money. To me this is very short sighted. You may have fooled me once but I will not return to any of the Foxwood properties. There is an expectation with a resort like Foxwood to be clean, comfortable and relaxing. This experience was anything but. Good luck Foxwood. To anyone else thinking of staying here, check out Mohegan Sun first.

Super loud!! Its the luck of the draw if you'll sleep.. I was there for 2 nights, 1 was quiet the other was impossible; doors slamming, people yelling in the halls, even staff was loud. I know people are partying, but still :/ Rooms are old, the comforter was thin, but the climate control worked well thankfully.. Blinds were good.

When we arrived at the scheduled check in time they told us the room wouldn’t be ready for hours, and we got no discount so basically we paid for a room we didn’t have access and didn’t get anything complimentary and on top of that they were rude about it. Completely unacceptable not only will I not be staying here again but I will not be returning to Foxwoods again this wouldn’t happen at Mohegan Sun. Plenty of other options.

Great room but bad location. We were placed right behind the elevator. I didn't think anything of it but the noise from the elevator motion was not good for a lite sleeper. My Husband and daughter did not have an issue, however if you are a lite sleeper tell them no room near elevators. Other than that the room was clean and updated. I'd definitely stay here again but would ask for a room far from elevators.
