Dimora Charleston Spa Lecce

A wonderful B&B, great location close to the St Baggio gate / Old town only 5 minutes walk to the gate, around 10/15 minutes walk from the train station. Those arriving in cars plenty of on site free parking. Lovely breakfast spread my wife is gluten free but no problem alternatives always available. The host made you feel very welcome staying in his house, plunge pool after a very hot day - perfect!

This is a beautiful place to stay in lecce lovely helpful staff, lovely breakfasts and the rooms are lovely too, brilliant location for the old town of lecce as its only a couple of minutes walk away with an ice cream shop literally around the corner that sells the best ice cream I've ever tasted

FOTO CON SCONTRINO ALLA FINE Dopo aver contattato altre strutture, abbiamo scelto la dimora Charleston soprattutto per la sua stanza con vasca idromassaggio in camera. Dopo cena, abbiamo aperto il rubinetto e atteso che la vasca - molto lentamente- si riempisse. Sono emersi tanti piccoli detriti neri, polvere e peli. Vicino al tappo c’era una melma marrone, segno di poca igiene. Uno spettacolo indecente. Ormai innervositi abbiamo avvisato il proprietario via whatsapp con foto e video del disagio verso l’una di notte, tempestivamente. Inoltre, la connessione Wi-Fi non funzionava. Dopo circa un’ora il proprietario ci ha risposto invitandoci ad andare in una altra camera. Come se fosse per noi comodo svegliarsi e trasferirsi in piena notte in un’altra stanza,senza nessuna assistenza, non conoscendo il posto. Al mattino abbiamo ricevuto solo qualche misera scusa. A colazione, misera e congelata, io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo chiesto due cappuccini e un caffe e il caffè non è mai arrivato. La signora che si occupava della colazione ci ha fatto notare che eravamo in ritardo e che ci stava aspettando per iniziare le pulizie in camera. Inoltre era informata dell’accaduto, dando la colpa ai tubi sporchi. Si è rivolta a noi dicendo che non le importava del nostro disagio, sottolineando che non pagando il parcheggio non avremmo neanche dovuto lamentarci. La camera aveva un costo di 142€, sovra quotato e stimato. Il personale di sala, e soprattutto quelli che hanno contatti con il pubblico, andrebbero scelto per far sentire a casa i clienti e di certo per la loro indisponenza e insolenza. Al momento del check in la sera prima, avevamo già saldato il conto della stanza - pagato tutto, disservizi inclusi. La struttura, ci racconta il proprietario, aveva riaperto lo stesso giorno in cui siamo arrivati. Anche per questo ci aspettavamo di trovare tutto perfetto e pronto per l’apertura. Invece siamo arrivati in una stanza per 142€/notte, e oltre alla sporcizia della vasca, muri mal stuccati, copriletto umido di chiuso, polvere sulle grucce, non viene fornita neanche una linea bagno, pantofole e asciugamani extra per la vasca - eh si perché se vuoi fare la doccia una volta e il bagno in vasca un’altra sarai costretto ad usare gli stessi asciugamani bagnati. L’approssimazione nell’ospitalità, e non solo, non è ammissibile. Specialmente quando sulla carta si è un semplice b&b ma con prezzi da hotel (ma senza servizi).

Picture this …. You are driving in Lecce, arrive to a stylish old mansion, where the front iron gate opens, to let you in. You park and walk a few feet. Arrive to a nicely decorated main hall with marble stairs. Then you go to your huge room (Garbo) with a hot tub and a quaint balcony that overlooked the front garden and …. Well, if it sound appealing to you, this is your place to stay in Lecce. Room: High ceilings, very clean and quiet. Very good A/C, comfy beds. Safe & fridge. Very large bathroom. Great breakfast, they will even make eggs for you on the spot. Highly recommended!

Super location in Lecce. Parking. Very nice staff. Manilo, The owner, was very helpful. Room was huge, tho I would recommend booking an external room. Ours looked over a tiny internal courtyard so there was a real lack of natural light. Good AC. Water provided. Small fridge. Breakfast was lovely. Really quiet spot. Comfy beds. Overall a v good experience. Oh and the decor is baroque meets charleston. Very quirky. We liked it.

This grand home has been transformed into a delightful B&B. The position is great , just outside the old town of Lecce and free parking on site is an added bonus. Manlio is extremely helpful and hospitable. Breakfast is ample and our room and common areas were exceptionally clean. Highly recommend this B&B
