Palazzo Zimara Boutique Hotel

This property is stunning. The staff are attentive and accommodating . The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. You will appreciate the city center location. We enjoyed breakfast there every morning. Absolutely one of the best properties we ever stayed at in our 35 years of travel.

We had an incredible experience staying at Palazzo Zimara. The hotel is based in a restored historical building, right in the Lecce city center. This is probably the best hotel we've ever stayed at! Absolutely stunning room, huge and comfortable bed, delicious breakfast a-la carte and top-notch service. We will definitely be back!

Newly renovated Palazzo and opened doors as a hotel this summer. All done with great taste and design. Rooms are a wonder, super high ceilings and impressive space. Service was very professional at reception and restaurant. Breakfast and dinner at restaurant a must. Highly recommended.

Just book your stay now. Don’t read any further. You will have a 5 star stay. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are stunning - clean and quiet. The sheets and bed are super cozy. The towels are soft and giant. They leave little snacks and a mini bar of non alcoholic drinks. There are 2 restaurants on property and the food at both is incredible. Breakfast is included and you will not regret it. It’s local and fresh and more than you need. These are all things you may or may not find at other hotels.

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and stayed for a week. This hotel is phenomenal. Having looked at other high end hotels in Lecce, we found many were outside the old town, were more expensive and the service was often sub-par. Zimara was amazing though. We were so lucky we found it. It is much lower down the Tripadvisor charts, solely as it is new. Very soon it will be the top hotel here. Prior to arrival the staff were in regular contact with us, advising us on how to get there, when you could drive into the old city and arranging parking for us in advance. We booked the Suite for 3 days and the Noble Suite for 4 days. On arrival we were upgraded to the Grand Suite for 3 days. The rooms are something else. I was genuinely blown away at the architecture and comfort. The Grand Suite was 2 arched rooms with a stunning staircase up to it and a huge bathroom. The Noble Suite had a huge ceiling and the roof and hot tub were brilliant. In the mornings, you have breakfast in the garden, although it was inside twice due to the weather. The food was light and delicious The staff are incredible. They were so incredibly helpful, friendly and generous with their time. We asked for water to be left in the room one night and after they they just did it without asking. One night, we went looking for a bottle of wine but it was too late to get outside and restaurants were closed so the staff and owner opened the restaurant to get us one. There was fresh fruit in the rooms every morning too. Check out the restaurant in the hotel too. There are two restaurants and La Bocca is top end. I could go on more but this is getting too long. Thank you to all the staff, you made our honeymoon, we can't wait to go back.

Excellent service; very helpful staff who went out of their way to help; delicious breakfast which was served to the table by a very friendly waiter who attended to all our wishes. The hotel also assisted in finding parking for our car ensuring that we were not fined in the limited zone area.
