Super 8 by Wyndham Lavonia

The pillows went flat unless you have two it isn’t very comfortable. Was clean but bedding had a cigarette burn in it. It’s okay for just sleeping and if you just need rest.

DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!! I’d give this place a negative rating in all categories if possible. The nastiest place we’ve ever booked to stay. Me, my wife, our 3 month old, my mom, and dad booked 2 rooms to stay the weekend. We walked in the rooms and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Roaches, other small Bugs, dirt on carpet, dirty walls, dust, old food in the fridge, burnt carpets, dirty stove tops, parts of the stove tops missing, dogs barking in the rooms beside us, moldy showers, smelled musky, and even our key card we were first handed at the office window was dirty and looked reused. Went and got the manager and he said we would receive no refund because we didn’t come straight back to the office, and tell them about it....we didn’t go straight back to the office because we were on our phones trying to find another available room somewhere else. Manager and front desk worker acted like the things in the room were no big deal...even after showing them the numerous photos I took of the room and the bugs. Manager told us that room is “where he kept his lunch in the fridge”. Manager wouldn’t give us a refund after not even being there 15 minutes....but luckily we were able to find another room off another exit...and was well worth the extra money to not have to spend another second in this super 8. Save your time, and spend a little extra money for a better place, and better service for your trip.

Towels dirty and stained. Something growing in coffee pot. Table was broke. There was wrappers in the chair. We checked in and then checked right back out. They didn’t do anything for us still charged us for the night

Manager very unprofessional, told my family which I put in room to go and visit family that they can not have visitors and wanted more money after they checked in ,I have also sent complaint to wyhndam about the incident.

We have stayed here on our way to Florida, 2 consecutive years. The property is clean, the rooms are nice, and the price is fair. Would highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it is convenient on and off of the Interstate 85. There are a couple of dining options and a convenience store within walking distance.

Mold growth on the carpet by the mini fridge. The room smelled bad. I didn’t realize the mold issue until I was packing to leave the next morning. My son and I stayed there to visit a friends sporting event in the area.

The room we were given was awful. The wood laminate on the dresser was curled up and peeling (later the manager said he knew about it but nothing had been done to fix it). There was hair and stains on the bathroom sink, the plug next to the sink did not work. The floor looked like it had not been cleaned and there was animal hair by the air conditioner. There was no extra roll of toilet paper and the bath tub had lots of dark stains like mold or something. When I tried to call the desk to complain the room phone would not even work. I complained in person when I turned in the room key but the manager did not apologize and just said he would look at the room. We should have gotten a discount or refund for being put into such an awful room..

I stayed at this hotel since I was just passing through the area during a road trip. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly. He was pretty much the highlight of my stay. This hotel is in desperate need of an update. The outdoor stairs were not in good shape. There were a few loud guests playing music outside their rooms. The area around the covered pool was run down, stained with something white, and looked old. I was in a non-smoking room yet the smell of smoke in the room was noticeable. The hand towels, wash cloths, and bath towels were all different shades and thicknesses of fabric. Anti-skid tub mat was permanently stained. Microwave was the old dial turn knob, outlets were overloaded behind the micro fridge, & the patched hole in the wall was never painted making me wonder what happened in the middle of that wall. There's a shortage of outlets as I had to unplug the clock radio to plug in my phone. The bed was the worst. Stained bedspread, holes in the threadbare sheets, and the pillowcases we're stained with something. If I hadn't been so exhausted from driving 10 hours I would have went someplace else. For a Super 8 by Wyndham I was extremely surprised at the outdated condition of a Wyndham-affiliated hotel.

Love this place; owners always treat us like family and welcome us home with a smile. This isn’t one of those cracked out party hotels where it’s just ***** and drunken partying, it’s a family run establishment!
