Tollgaarden Gjestegaard

The apartment in Sandefjord we normally stay at wasn't available on this particular visit so we chose to stay at Toldgaarden Gjestagaard in Larvik. The guesthouse is located a short walk from the railway station and also less than 10 mins walk from the centre of town. The guesthouse comprises apartments and units in traditional buildings in a courtyard setting. We had a good welcome when we arrived and given the keys to a converted garage attic apartment. The apartment was spacious and well appointed with an open kitchen, large sitting room, dining room table and chairs as well as two bedrooms. There was also a full sized balcony which was a sun trap, we spent a lot of time sitting there in the warm sunshine. The apartment was very comfortable and ideal for our short stay. It was immaculately clean and was in a great position being so close to the centre of Larvik and transport links, we would definately consider staying again.
