Agriturismo Essentia Dimora Rurale

This is an excellent Agriturismo in the Molise area of Italy, Largely undetected by tourists, the area has many authentic sights to explore. This location makes a great hub to explore the area. Situated on 22 acres of fruit trees, Olive groves and vineyards, the converted farm house offer very clean and comfortable rooms. It is very peaceful with a nice pool and plenty of room for just strolling around. The owners are extremely helpful in setting up excursions and introducing you to the area. In addition they run a superb restaurant on premises with meals based on century old recipes and hyper local ingredients. The meal we had there was excellent. They also sell products of the farm and the local area. An excellent overall experience and I would highly recommend this business.

Everything about this place is perfect, from the views of the countryside, to the pool (with swim flow), Salvatore himself and all the staff. Easy to find, simple and safe to park and a beautiful meal. We’re lucky enough to travel extensively in Europe and this is one of the top few stays we’ve had.

Time to discover Molise! Salvatore and family are passionate about Molise and have an intense desire to share their secret with others through food, wine and experiences. Their hospitality makes you feel part of the family. Their gastronomic dinner experience allows you to sample some of the best parts of Molise while learning about the ancient grains, olive oils and spirits produced on the farm with cheeses, meats and wine taken from the surrounding countryside. The accommodation situated in a comfortable, peaceful environment is worth making the trip up from the coast. This is a very special place owned/managed/hosted by a very special family. We spent 3 nights here and after dinner on the first night we not only decided to eat all our dinners there -- but we started planning when we could return with family and friends. Everything is excellent in its purity and simplicity. Fantastic location to just sit and enjoy or to go to the sea (＜20 minutes) or explore the provincial towns. Very highly recommended.

Tastefully decorated rooms. Spectaculair view. Many food items home-grown. If not, at least from the region. Dinner not to be missed. Including great local wines. Family property run by an enthusiastic young couple. Would love to come back and spend a couple of days there.

Our stay at Salvatore's farm was fantastic. Salvatore's hospitality and passion for the region really stood out. The farm's location in the middle of the fields provided a peaceful escape from the city buzz. What made our stay memorable was the farm-fresh food. Every meal showcased the best of local produce, straight from Salvatore's farm or nearby. Don't miss out on the dinner experience—it's a must. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable retreat at the end of the day. Overall, we had a great time at Salvatore's farm and highly recommend it to others. It's a perfect choice for those looking for a peaceful getaway with delicious food and warm hospitality.

I would highly recommend Essentia Dimora Rurale to any traveler. We stayed as a couple for five nights in July. In addition to a beautiful location, conveniently situated to reach both the ocean and beaches, and many interesting sights and small towns in the region, the agriturismo offers comfortable rooms with well planned design and themes throughout. A wonderful garden, and own produce on offer for both breakfast and delicious dinners. Salvatore was an extremely attentive and pleasant host. Eager to tell us about Molise, and everything this relatively unknown region of Italy has to offer. Very helpful with tips to sights, restaurants and anything we needed to know. I would love to stay here again, and recommend both the agriturismo and Molise as a region to everyone.

Wonderful experience e-biking through the hills, valleys, farms and rustic towns of Molise. Salvatore guided us along empty country roads over and through bright green valleys with the Adriatic Sea, snow-covered mountains and hill towns dotting the landscape as a backdrop. Delicious homemade panini for lunch. As great as the ride and the lunch were, the true highlight was the family who run this Agriturismo, a family-run business with Salvatore, his sister and his parents working the land and Salvatore leading the e-bike tours. These are truly good, generous people who appreciate tourists wanting to experience their region. This was a highlight of my two-week trip to Italy and not only would I go out of my way to do it again, I would definitely stay at least a few days with them at Agriturismo Essentia. I happened to find Essentia Dimora Rurale only by chance on Google Maps - so happy that I did! My spouse and I had a wonderful stay at the agriturismo over Easter weekend. The property and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. It is a very relaxing and peaceful space. We stayed in the Olio room and found it very comfortable. It was really nice to have a private patio area as well as the large yard. Breakfasts consisted of either sweet or savory (or both!) items and were abundant! We had dinner there twice during our stay, different dishes each night, and everything was so fresh and delicious. Salvatore is so kind and has a wonderful sense of humor. He is great with communication, we spoke via email as well as phone prior to our arrival. He provided wonderful recommendations to ensure we enjoyed as much of Molise as we could in only four days. It was heartwarming to observe, and experience, the passion and pride that has been put into Essentia. We would absolutely return to Essentia and highly recommend it to others!
