"We absolutely love The Alcadima Hotel. We stayed once before and when in the area always pop in for lunch or dinner. It's family run with wonderful staff. The grounds are gorgeous. I can't believe more people don't come in for a look around and to eat in the fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious. It's absolute bliss. The pool is amazing and meticulously clean. The staff are all so polite, friendly and kind. Can't do enough for you. We highly recommend breakfast. For 11 Euros it's so good and with a lots of choice. We had a look at two other hotels (up the street) for breakfast and they couldn't beat the Alcadima Hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains. We did have a little bit of trouble with the air con - it wasn't as cold as we hoped. We managed though and the staff did their best for us. It's not an ultra modern hotel. It's delightful and in keeping. Highly recommend the trip up to Trevélez and then on the way down take in other white villages i.e. Capileira, Pampaneira. Pampaniera is about 35 mins drive so an easy trip out for dinner if you fancy it. We always come back to Alcadima for it's fantastic hospitality. A highly recommended hotel. Do try the restaurant. You won't be disappointed. We love visiting Lanjaron - it's a lovely town with lovely restaurants and bars. Thank you to everyone at Alcadima."

Hotel Andalucia ★★★

"I was not staying at the hotel but paying to use the facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful but unfortunately we paid to stay for lunch and this is when it went all downhill. We had a very nice lunch but two of my group had a starter of mixed tomatoes, onions, oranges and small bits of fish. Within two hours my friend was being violently sick and I followed shortly after. 16 hours of vomiting and holiday ruined. Would not recommend to eat there but facilities and staff were great."

"Wir hatten noch ein paar wunderbare Tage auf der Ranch, durch den Sierra Nevada Nationalpark und in die Tale, wo wir wieder mit Lally geblieben waren. Danke Lally für Ihre super Gastfreundschaft und Essen sowie die erstaunliche Warmwassertube, die sehr nützlich für müde Muskeln war. Eine wunderbare Ergänzung. ! Nicht vergessen unsere drei Nächte mit Emily auf den Bergen. Ihre Freundlichkeit und Großzügigkeit und auch wie willkommen sie Sue und ich gemacht. Ihr Koch ist mit allen gesündesten natürlichen Zutaten ausgezeichnet. Es war so wunderbar, dich wieder zu treffen Emily. Danke auch Finn, der immer das zusätzliche Meilenstein fährt, um die bestmögliche Erfahrung zu geben. Seine Pflege und freundliche Natur und sein Wissen über die Umgebung ist ein enormer Vorteil für die gesamte Erfahrung. Wir sind immer mit schönen Pferden abgestimmt und es war schön wieder Emma und Simon und das ganze Team zu treffen. Ich bin sicher, wir werden zurück sein und wünschen Ihnen alles Gute für einen guten Sommer! 👍😘"
