The location had great views over the valley, including the early morning sea of cloud. The property has a rooftop lookout that our group could get together to enjoy the view. It helped that our taxi could drive through the narrow road of Mengben village and deposit us and our luggage on the doorstep of the homestay. This is unlike Wengji & Nuogang villages, where cars are not allowed to enter the village but deposit visitors at the village carpark. The hospitality of the owner/hostess was remarkable. She had a Pu'er tea table and made us endless cups of different tea all grown in her farm, explaining their differences and virtues. She did not charge us a cent for the whole experience. Neither did she try to hard sell the tea leaves although we did buy a small amount off her because we enjoyed the tea. She is a good cook and whipped up breakfast and lunch for us.

本來計劃出國遊，但是報的問題很多，想想還是國內安全一點吧！這時，距離春節衹有20來天了。景邁山剛申遺成功，朋友來了幾波了，那我也和家人到景邁山看看吧。趕緊看酒店客棧，大部分都沒房間了，很少的幾個酒店客棧價格離譜，都是7-800到上千元，搜到這家酒店295元一個房間，電話老闆瞭解情況，感覺老闆語氣很誠懇，就趕緊定了下來。但是心裏還是一直惴惴不安，版納的酒店已經漲了5-10倍了，老闆家的這個價格，會不會條件很差？12日下午來到客棧，老闆打開房間，我真是覺得撿到漏了：房間很大，很乾凈，陽台就能看雲海，衞生間很大，水也很大，衞生間有熱暖熱風。每次住房間，我更看重的就是衞生間和水，玩累了，可以好好洗漱一下、恢復體力。早點客人是免費的。對外10元。午餐晚餐可以在老闆家吃，但是要提前告訴老闆，價格和老闆協商。老闆家的茶室很大，晚上可以在裏面品老闆家的茶。 住了兩天，老闆人很純樸、和善。樓頂的露台搭好了，我們兩天早晚都在上面看雲海和日出日落，放無人機。隔壁的很多遊客也上來一起看。白天開車去逛其他村寨，既看了其它村寨的喧囂，也享受了勐本村的安靜。 客棧在勐本村的金佛塔寺旁，距離芒梗村300多米，兩個村沒有糯幹、翁基那麼熱門，它的建築結合了一些現代元素，住起來更舒適。真正享受了我孩子説的：我們是來度假的，不是來旅遊的。下次到景邁山，還會選這家客棧。

帶着貓貓狗狗出行，衹能尋找寵物友好的住宿！入住前跟老闆確認可以帶寵物！民宿在寨子深處，環境清幽！房間很大，有陽台可以喝茶看風景，衞生也很乾凈！老闆特別熱情，幫我們規劃遊覽路線！早上房間就可以看到雲海，老闆自己在頂樓也搭了個觀景台（我們入住的時候還沒完工，老闆一再提醒注意安全）看雲海的時候還給我們送了茶上來很貼心！早上有老闆娘親手做的早餐（好吃）
