Wir blieben hier am Montag Nacht Ende April, im Grunde durch. Die Gegend scheint das Kulturzentrum zu sein und fühlte sich sehr leer mit den meisten Speiseplätze geschlossen Mon & Tues (nicht schlecht, nur ein bisschen Eerie). Die etwa die Hälfte der Fluss- und Gartenfläche nördlich des Hotels war interessant und wert 30-40 Minuten Zeit. Sie sah mehrere tiefe Holzschüttern entlang der Straße! Das Hotel Remo war sehr klassisch, alles außerordentlich sauber, klassisch und neu; das Personal sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer und Betten waren komfortabel & ruhig, ebenso der Pool und Fitnessraum. Die einzige Nebenspitze, die wir getroffen haben, ist, dass es innerhalb mehrerer Blöcke keinen Platz gab, um Abendessen oder Frühstück vom Hotel ”Bistro” im ersten Stock entfernt zu bekommen. Es bietet Tische mit Wasserblick sowie einige interessante komfortable ”Privacy”-Boote. Ihr Menü war ziemlich begrenzt und auf der ”leicht” Seite, während die Preise relativ vernünftig für ein ”gefangenes” Essen waren und wir konnten, was wir brauchten. Ich vermute, es ist wahrscheinlich kein Problem während der Spitzensaison und Wochenende. Wir würden hier wieder bleiben, wenn in La Crosse.

My wife and I recently vacationed in Wisconsin, our first trip since Covid seems to be under control. We were very disappointed in the decline of multiple budget motel chains we used. The franchise owners are struggling to recover financially, and this has resulted in substandard building maintenance and staffing. My rating is for this property in particular. The room looked like it hadn't been dusted or vacuumed in several days, so we dusted off the lamps and wore foot coverings, even during the night. (0 stars) The fan for the air conditioner was very noisy, so during the night we alternated between having it keep us cool and awake, or getting up a couple of times to turn it off so we could sleep but get too warm. The bathroom fan was also noisy and made a throbbing sound in the room during the entire length of a shower. The steam took a long time to clear, so I don't think the fan actually worked. (0 stars) The bedding and pillows were very comfortable, and there were no noisy neighbors in the rooms, hallways or outside. We got a good night's rest. (1 star) The breakfast area was clean and well stocked, and had the variety you would normally expect for a free breakfast. (1 star) The front desk staff was friendly during both checkin and checkout. They apologized for the room not being as good as we had expected. (1 star) Based on these factors, my overall rating is 3 stars. I suspect that only certain rooms are kept up, and when occupancy goes up, some of the substandard rooms are made available without first being properly readied. We had chosen Country Inn because of an exceptional stay in Holland Michigan ten years ago. This property certainly wasn't what we had expected for the price we paid for the room.

I presented at a conference that was held at the Radisson in La Crosse, in early May. My observation from the conference is that the Radisson staff are very hardworking and did a great job taking care of us conferees. Lunch was delicious - I had a pork loin chop, mashed potatoes, and veggie mix of cauliflower, zucchini, carrots, red onions and green peppers - the veggies tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly (not overcooked). Service was excellent for the lunch. Refreshments during the conference were excellent - displayed attractively, tidied up in a timely fashion. The staff were inconspicuous and did a great job picking up after all of us conferees, clearing dishes, etc. Their excellent work was very noticeable and very much appreciated. AV-tech was attentive, friendly and very helpful. Climate inside was well controlled - not too hot and not too cold; just right. Location of restrooms was excellent. Location of this hotel is excellent, parking lot out back had plenty of parking spaces.

Sehr geräumige Zimmer mit vollen Küchen. Neu renoviert und sauber. Freundlich Front Desk Mitarbeiter. Ein großer Preis. Belegen in der Nähe der Innenstadt La Crosse. Einige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zahlreiche Restaurants in der Nähe. Sehr empfehlenswert dieses Hotel.
