My wife and Myself were on a Saga/Titan holiday for a week in Kyrenia. After a very early start from the U.K. and a rather long drive to the Oscar Hotel we were so looking forward to a hot shower and dinner. Sadly this did not happen, we were allocated the wrong grade of room and even worse, miles from the nearest elevator. I had to take my invoice from Saga/Titan to reception to prove that we were in the wrong grade of room. We were informed that nothing could be done to rectify the mistake until the next day as the Hotel was full. My wife is disabled, so we spent a miserable night, missed out on our included trip to Nicosia that departed the hotel at 0815 the next day. We were eventually moved to a superb room, (next to an elevator) at approximately 1350 on day two. Things started to look up after the disastrous start to our holiday at the hotel. We were looked after by the lovely ever smiling lady receptionist Merve Didem Emiroglu and the gentleman Azam Mohammad, nothing was too much trouble for them. Azam Mohammad drove my wife and myself down to the pool side for lunch everyday using the hotel golf buggy. He looked after us so well, that we decided to forgo the other Saga/Titan included excursions so that we could chill out and relax at the pool side. The team at the poolside restaurant were a happy bunch and served us very nice luncheons and liquid refreshments. Thanks to them all we had a wonderful relaxing holiday and after talking to some of the other guests on our tour party we feel that we made the right decision to stay put and chillout. Talking about hotel staff putting themselves out for hotel guests . The crown on one of my front teeth decided to part company and left a horrid gap, and we were meant to fly home in approximately 48 hours time. Merve, our favourite receptionist lady, contacted her dentist ,organised a taxi to take us there and back, and have the crown reinstated and put the smile back on my face. First class treatment all-round. I would also like to thank the staff in the dinning room for looking after us and making our dinning experience a pleasure. Sorry we misplaced the slip with your names on, but we will always remember your smiling faces as you looked after us at our table for two. Thank you to all at the hotel Oscar for ensuring we had an excellent weeks stay, wish it could have been longer. PS. For British Tourists. My crown parted company with my mouth six weeks before the start of this holiday. The fee for emergency treatment in the U.K. was £190. The Emergency treatment in Kyrenia including the return taxi fare was a grand total of £16 .(Sixteen Pounds Sterling). And its still there.

Von dem Moment an, als ich ankam, wurde ich mit höchster Professionalität und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft empfangen. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, direkt am Meer gelegen und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Stadtzentrum von Kyrenia entfernt. Das Hotel bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf das Mittelmeer und die umliegende Landschaft, was jeden Morgen und Abend zu einem visuellen Genuss macht. Mein Zimmer war makellos sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, die man sich wünschen kann. Das Bett war unglaublich bequem, was zu erholsamen Nächten führte. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei und sorgte für eine angenehme Raumtemperatur. Das Personal im Lords Palace Hotel war herausragend. Jeder Mitarbeiter, mit dem ich zu tun hatte, war freundlich, professionell und äußerst hilfsbereit. Das gastronomische Angebot im Hotel ist erstklassig. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große Auswahl an frischen und qualitativ hochwertigen Speisen, die jeden Morgen ein Highlight waren. Auch das Mittagessen und Abendessen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war ein kulinarischer Höhepunkt, mit exquisiten Gerichten und einem hervorragenden Service. Die Einrichtungen des Hotels sind ebenfalls beeindruckend. Der Wellnessbereich mit Spa, Pool und Sauna war ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Der Infinity-Pool auf dem Dach bot nicht nur eine tolle Möglichkeit zum Schwimmen, sondern auch einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt. Zusammengefasst übertraf das Lords Palace Hotel all meine Erwartungen. Es bietet eine perfekte Kombination aus Luxus, Komfort und exzellentem Service. Hafif Engelli olduğum için zorluk yaşamadım, fakat Tekerlekli Sandalye kullananlar refakatçi olmadan rampaları kullanamaz (biraz dik yapılmış) Tesis şehir merkezinde olduğu için bir çok konuma yakın (Örn. Girne Kalesi 2 dk'lık yürüme mesafesinde) Tesisin bir çok yerinde rampalar var, havuza inişler kolay Engelli lavabo ve odaları henüz mevcut değildi, hazırlık aşamasında olduğu söyledi sanırım 2024 yazına yetişecek. Gitmeden mutlaka bilgi alın. Odaları temiz düzenli (Yanınıza mutlaka prizler için dönüştürücü alın, biz akıl edemedik ama resepsiyon bize temin etti sağolsunlar) Yemek çeşitliliği fazla değil ama az da değildi ve lezzetliydi, çalışanlar çok ilgili hepsine Türkiye'den Teşekkürlerimi gönderiyorum. Tek memnun olmadığım tarafı yarım pansiyon olmasından mı bilemem ama akşam yemeğinde en azından bir ayran, kola gibi sıradan içeceklerin ücretli değil de yemeğe dahil olmasını isterdim fazla bir masrafı olacağını düşünmüyorum. Yine gelir miyim? Neden olmasın?

Die Zimmer und Einrichtungen sind veraltet, die Hotelkellner haben im Grunde keinen Sinn für Service, sie parken einfach vor dem Hotel, die Frühstücksfrau ist durchschnittlich, einheimisches Samsung-Niveau, aber erwähnenswert ist, dass die drei Paprikaschoten zum Frühstück wirklich lecker sind und süß! Es ist jedoch seltsam, frühmorgens Paprika zu essen! Die Hotelanlage ist nicht klein, die Landschaft ragt empor

Vorteile – Lage – Spa – Pool auf dem Dach – Essen Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hafen, zu Bars, Geschäften und öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Nachteile: stark befahrene Straße gegenüber von zwei Tankstellen und den ganzen Tag über starker Verkehr. Das Personal an der Rezeption war weder hilfsbereit noch zuvorkommend. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage und unser Zimmer hatte bei der Ankunft um Mitternacht 26,5°. Wir konnten es kaum glauben und mussten auf zwei Ventilatoren bestehen, die wir die ganze Nacht und den Tag, an dem wir im Zimmer waren, dauerhaft eingeschaltet ließen. Bei einigen Steckdosen und Steckern war die Verkabelung lose, so dass wir immer wieder Störungen melden mussten. Unsere Hauptbeschwerde war der starke Benzingeruch, von dem wir annahmen, dass er von der Tankstelle kam. Als wir an der Rezeption anriefen und um einen Umzug in ein anderes Zimmer baten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass keine Zweibettzimmer mehr verfügbar seien, aber für ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel bin ich mir sicher, dass sie uns hätten unterbringen können. Der Gestank war überwältigend. Nachdem sie schließlich eine der Reinigungskräfte angerufen hatte, gab sie an, dass sie nicht die Tankstellen, sondern den Abfluss in der Dusche reinigen würde. Als wir an diesem Abend ins Zimmer zurückkehrten, war der Geruch verschwunden. Am nächsten Morgen begann es jedoch wieder einzudringen. Wir riefen eine andere Putzfrau, machten sie auf den Gestank aufmerksam und zeigten ihr die Steckdosen, die nicht funktionierten. Sie sagte, überlassen Sie es mir, und an diesem Abend war alles repariert, aber uns blieben nur noch zwei Nächte unseres Urlaubs. Der Name der Reinigungskraft war Hava und ich möchte sie der Hotelleitung empfehlen. Unser Gespräch wurde über meine Übersetzungs-App und Gebärdensprache geführt. Trotz allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen, da die Vorteile die Nachteile überwogen. Ich würde nicht wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten, bis es modernisiert ist. Die Sommermonate müssen unerträglich sein.

I want to begin by saying that the bar staff, pool staff, cleaners etc. are the friendliest, most welcoming people and so this review does not reflect on them at all. So we booked for 2 adults and 1 child (13years) through trip.com. After an overnight flight and being extremely tired, we finally arrived at reception to be told that no, we had only booked for 2 adults. We quickly showed the reception staff our email which said '2 adults, 1 child (13years)'. The man on reception told us that there was a comma and not a plus sign and so that meant that it wasn't plus 1 child. This completely baffled as why would the email have a child and age if not booked regardless of commas/+ signs and we continued to insist that we had booked for all of us. After some back and forth, he decided to ring the manager who promptly said that it wasn't something she would accept and that we would have to pay extra for our child. The man told us this and said that as we hadn't booked through the hotel, this wasn't his problem and that I could take it up with trip.com. Now, 2 flights, no sleep and the fact that I have various conditions that effect my mental health so much that I am registered disabled, I admit I responded harshly at this point. How can you advertise through a 3rd party website, be shown the confirmation, and still tell paying customers that this is your problem, not mine? Even if this were true, wouldn't a more appropriate response be 'You clearly have a booking and have come a long way, let's get you settled in a room and then we can either contact trip.com or help you contact them to get this sorted out'? I then asked to speak to the manager myself- the member of staff phoned her but she refused to come to the phone and said if we were unhappy, to cancel our booking and then shut the phone. Cancel and go where with what money? Were we supposed to walk back to London in order to have somewhere safe to sleep? There was no budge and around an hour after arrival, we were told by trip.com to pay the extra and they would refund us. Kudos to them, we were refunded within 2 days and they were extremely helpful. After all of this, there were so many issues with the hotel itself - street digs in the pool, ceiling in living room crumbling and falling, dirty sheets and tiles, the shower flooded every day and at one point was a waterfall down the stairs into the living room and we had to use wvery towel we had to soak it all up, ants everywhere, the list is endless and I have added pictures so people can see it for themselves. I am so disappointed the whole experience was an absolute shambles. To top it all off, I was telling a friend who lives in Cyprus and he knew the owner. He phoned the owner to tell him and the next day we were offered a free meal as an apology - so just because I had a contact, and the owner told you off, you give me a gesture of goodwill? What if I hadn't known anyone, would this gesture have even existed? Or would you have just told us it wasn't your problem? We refused. Disgraceful.
