Keys Select By Lemon Tree Hotels, Malabar Gate, Kozhikode —- This is the worst hotel in Kozhikode…When we came to the hotel, we asked the doorman/security for Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotel, he was not aware…and told us the hotel does not exist…Finally asking lot of people, we realised it is the same hotel…the doorman/security knows this hotel as “ Malabar Gate “….so guests who come to this hotel, please ask for Malabar gate. The rooms were dirty….no amenities in the bathroom…even bathing towel was not there…there was a bucket with dirt…the housekeeping staff left it out of mistake, while cleaning….the a/c not working well…uneducated staffs….the food was average….in the restaurant waiting staffs fighting with their managers for leave and change of rosters….overall a bad experience….i have stayed in Lemon Tree and Keys Hotels earlier….but this does not have it standards….please don’t book this hotel

The room was so dirty. The windows and bathroom were not cleaned for ages, had dirt everywhere. I vacated the hotel after 2 hours from check in.

It's an old property but maintained good by keys hotel group. Its in prime location near to rely station, busstand and market too. Good services and excellent complimentary breakfast. Enjoyed the stay so i strongly recommend hotel malabar gate by keys group

It was very bad experience with the blankets full of dust and we got ill by this time. No adequate parking is there.

Good stay. Friendly and understanding staff, clean and comfortable stay. Good location. As a solo lady traveller, i felt safe staying at the malabar gate keys. Room was clean and comfortable. Budget friendly, thanks to make my trip for this pocket friendly suggestion.

Major maintenance is due. There were leaks all over the corridors. The drilling and banging noises started as early as 7 am waking us up. The location is great though but the brand has a long way to go before the place becomes acceptable.
