Atlantica Thalassa Hotel

Wir haben vor unserer Abreise alle Bewertungen gelesen und da sie so positiv ausfielen, haben wir gebucht. Zimmer Die Zimmer bestehen aus einer Reihe von Apartments, ein wenig alt und schäbig, aber brauchbar Sie haben einen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher, einen Safe und eine Klimaanlage Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit einem großen Kingsize-Bett Separates Zimmer für zwei Teenager, auch mit Klimaanlage im Zimmer Großer Balkon Badezimmer Sehr klein und beim ersten Duschen stand das Apartment auf direkter Höhe unter Wasser (Haare steckten im Abfluss fest) Haartrockner und Steckdose für Rasierer/Zahnbürste Pool Ein Pool mit rundum gleicher Tiefe und ein Babybecken Viele Betten ungefähr. Die einfachen niedrigen Betten Der Poolbereich ist sauber und ab etwa 11 Uhr gibt es eine Snackbar Die Handtücher sind ein wenig dünn und schäbig, aber sauber Essen Finden Sie immer etwas zu essen und um fair zu sein, ist die Qualität recht gut. Ich habe definitiv schon Schlimmeres gegessen Das Frühstück war mit Abstand das schlechteste Essen. Keine Auswahl an gekochten Speisen, jeden Tag das Gleiche und nicht so toll, Themenabende, Unterhaltung, schlechte Qualität, nichts zu sagen, wirklich jeden Abend die gleichen Lieder für die Kinder, was es total langweilig macht, nichts für Erwachsene, Strand auf der anderen Straßenseite, muss gründlich gereinigt werden, da viel Abfall (Steine, Fliesen, Holz, Zigarettenstummel, usw.), kann auch beim Reingehen etwas steinig sein, aber sie verlangen 3 Euro für die Nutzung der Betten (das habe ich zum ersten Mal bei einem All-Inclusive-Urlaub erlebt, bei dem das Hotel seine eigenen Betten hat), das Meer ist sauber und klar, sobald man drin ist, keine Strandbar, ich würde nicht in dieses Hotel zurückkehren, weil ich eher ein 4-Sterne-Erlebnis bevorzuge. Aber es ist ein recht ordentliches 3-Sterne-Hotel, wissenswertes: Von Lambi aus kommt man nirgendwo hin, und in der Umgebung ist nichts, also sind Sie abgeschnitten, am Ende des Hotels ist eine Bushaltestelle, die Sie aber nur nach Kos-Stadt bringt. Von Kos-Stadt aus müssen Sie dann mit dem Bus zu Ihrem Zielort fahren. Sie sind besser beraten, sich ein Auto/einen Buggy zu mieten, um herumzukommen. Kos ist eine wunderschöne Insel und es gibt eigentlich nur eine Hauptstraße um sie herum, also ist es schön und einfach, sich fortzubewegen. Mieten Sie es nicht bei Lambi, da es Sie das Doppelte kostet! Mieten Sie es in Kos-Stadt. Machen Sie die 3-Insel-Kreuzfahrt. Sie kostet etwa 25 Euro für Erwachsene und 10-15 Euro für Kinder, inklusive Grill und 10-5, ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir sind zweimal gefahren, einmal auf dem Piratenschiff, dann auf der Kristina, da dies ein kleineres Familienboot ist und Sie mit ziemlicher Sicherheit Delfine sehen, die dorthin fahren, wo die größeren Boote nicht hinfahren. Viel Spaß

Hotel location is a bit out of the way but we knew this when we booked and that was fine for us. Hotel complex small but perfect for us cleanliness is great no faults. Rooms- bigger than expected all you need is there with good balcony, charging devices very slow with electricity. Food- there was something for us every time we went even though my wife was picky with what she ate. Entertainment not great this was the only let down in my opinion. Pool very nice but cold but once your in your body gets used to it. Drinks ok we only had the beer and cola/Fanta. Snack bar good something different cooked every day. Staff are very friendly big shout out to Edyta who helped us before we arrived in organising a hairdresser to come one morning as we were going to a wedding. Transport- buses are confusing bus from hotel,the bus only goes to Kos town, there you can get buses to other places, we didn't bother. We booked taxis twice through reception turned up both times. All in all great little hotel and would not hesitate to stay again .

Positives first. Zogafira in the restaurant and Millena in the lounge bar both amazing. Loved these ladies. 2nd week when Ben And James took over the entertainment fantastic. Before then entertainment was non existent. Rooms ok but hardly any storage for clothes so hung up what we could. Then lived out of the suitcase which I hate doing. The small chest of drawers in the wardrobe were broken. Rooms could do with an upgrade. Also the doors to the apartment had massive gap at the bottom allowing bugs to get in. Food was good and always something to eat. Minestrone soup was a big hit. Pool area and sun loungers could do with a clean. Also sad people that get up and put their towels down at 6.30 meaning sun loungers around the pool not always available. The leaflet the hotel gives you says towels would be removed they wasn’t. We arrived late 10.45pm and wasn’t given a bag with sandwiches in yet other people were given this??? This hotel could be 5 star if updated a little. Bus was ok. Was always late but it was cheap.

Currently staying at the Atlantica Thalassa, the hotel is small, with only a wardrobe and dressing table with 2 small drawers for your clothes. But having said that they do say that the best things come in small packages! The room (221), faces out to a grassed area and the swimming pool. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, the food is gorgeous, yes breakfast is always the same food but the variety is phenomenal for a small hotel with cereals, meat, cheese, bread, rolls, scrambled and boiled eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, salad, pancakes, savoury and sweet pastries, porridge, different flavoured teas and juices so something for everyone. Lunch and dinner change daily with a lot of variety and everything is delicious (I know I've tried it all). Plenty of sun beds if you don't mind being on the grass which is close to the pool, easy access to the pool via steps, pool bar opens at 10am and they serve the ice cream. All areas are clean and tidy. Room cleaned 5 times a week, we have had our beds changed, but only been here 4 days. The bus stop is at the end of the hotel driveway and a bit to the right, the hotel has a timetable of busses in to kos town, the earlier ones run on time but do get later as the day goes on, 2 euro to go in and 1.60 euros to return, very easy to get the bus in and back again the driver calls out your hotel before the stop so you won't miss your hotel. All in all this is a fantastic hotel which I would recommend we are really enjoying our stay and still have just over a week to go.

It was a great stay, listen, we fly very often and we really went to different places, we even had 5 stars and 2 stars, we usually chose large resorts with an aqua park and a few swimming pools, and if I'm honest, choosing this holiday was a 10 hit!!!! ! The food was delicious, the hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful, I must praise three wonderful ladies, the bartender Mirella who was like (mother) you could talk to her about everything, the next lady was Fotini the waitress who as soon as you entered a diner or dinner you could immediately see her smile and positive energy. There should be more people smiling so positively..... And the next lady is a cleaning lady named Koni, who did wonders with the towels.... As for the standard, the rooms are clean and tidy, and as for small defects, such as the cupboard not closing properly. , the floor has a hole, listen, people, everything is getting destroyed, especially since so many people pass through these rooms that it's shocking... The best thing is the location - you can sail to Turkey and spend a great time, or go out in the evening to Kos where life is teeming with life. The only minus is the lack of water sports. So I heartily recommend this hotel, there is something for everyone.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Not a bad little hotel! Myself & 2 children visited end of August as a cheap last minute deal. This was our second time to Kos island. We arrived in the early hours & check-in was slow as 1 person lone working but he was very friendly & gave us a bad of sandwiches, snacks & juice which was nice. Our room was on the 2nd floor which was hard as a solo adult having to heave 2 suitcases up 4 flights of stairs, would definitely ask for a ground floor room if came again. Our view was inland but still pretty enough, overlooking the tennis court. The balcony was nice. The room was simple, only down side was by far not enough storage to unpack, 1 small wardrobe & a few tiny drawers. I hung what was essential & lived out of our suitcases for the rest. There was also only 2 plug sockets so had to move the kettle for a drink but not the end of the world. Room was kept clean by the cleaners daily. Bathroom was modern & shower was lovely. Plenty of sun beds around the grounds, didn’t get one first thing by the pool but some became available in the afternoon. The grounds were clean & well maintained, the pool slightly murky but kids enjoyed it. Kiddies pool again good. The snack bar was ok, nothing amazing, again not too busy later in the day. I chose not to use the pool bar much, there was always one person working solo which meant queues constantly & it put me off. The drinks were ok but I chose to buy my own from the little shop on site, I must say both staff I encountered in there were absolutely lovely. The restaurant was fine, against other local hotels it had a great variety of vegetarian options everyday. My only negative was the selection of hot food wasn’t always huge however we did always find something to eat. The team worked hard to keep tables cleared & were friendly. We used the beach several times which offers stunning views over to Turkey. It is worth noting it is quite pebbly as you enter the sea so may be worth investing in water shoes. The beach is small & simple, take your snacks & drinks with you if you use the hotel beach. Free WiFi available around the hotel & in rooms, isn’t always amazing but did work the majority of the time. Evening entertainment was minimal. There is an amphitheater but nobody ever used the seats. Some external acts would have made it extra special as after the quiz or bingo it was very quiet. Again it’s worth Venturing into the town itself if you want a more upbeat evening. Lots of nice comfy seating upstairs by the bar which I used of an evening. A holiday is always what you make of it, for the deal I got & the memories made with my children it was a great low budget hotel. Of course there are grander, more luxurious places on the island but if you’re looking to explore & not spend 24/7 in the hotel or if you are looking for a cheaper option it’s absolutely a great choice.

A fabulous couple of weeks in a gem of a hotel that I'd highly recommend. For me it's probably a 4 star hotel but without doubt, it has 5 star staff. Everyone from the receptionists, cleaning staff, waiting staff, animation team and bar staff were attentive, helpful and worked incredibly hard - they really made the holiday for our family - thank you!! Rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate with good air conditioning and we were lucky enough to have rooms with good size balconies with views over to Turkey. The restaurant food was great, loads of choice and not overly repetitive, the snack bar was great for mid-afternoon munchies, and the drinks were the usual all inclusive fayre. The pool area was kept tidy and there were always sun beds available (if not by the pool, on the grassy area), and the pool itself was plenty big enough. Table tennis, an all weather football pitch, volleyball court, tennis court and crazy golf at all on offer (no extra cost), and a pool table and air hockey machine were also available at extra cost. Lovely seated area near the hotel for relaxing evening drinks, and a smaller area near the stage and auditorium if watching the entertainment. The evening entertainment was ok but the highlight by a mile was the live music ( the couple were brilliant!). It's a little out of town, about 45 mins walk along the beach to Kos Town. There is transport if you prefer, and it takes 5 mins or so in a taxi or on the bus...but note that taxis were difficult to get at times and the bus can get busy. Oh, and the sunset from the terrace and beach is amazing. Do not be put off by any negative reviews, it's a great, welcoming hotel.
