it was a very good hotel, 5 stars for absolutely everything ! We will sure stay again next time when we visit Kongsberg

Excellent customer service, clean rooms, gym was sufficient, variety of food and availability of food for breakfast and dinner was welcomed. Would highly recommend.

It was our first time in Norway and in Kongsberg, and we were really impressed. Upon arrival there is paid parking available in the garage underneath. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet was large with quality food. Every afternoon they severed coffee which was followed by soup in the evening. As far as activities, many things are within walking distance and the mall is right next door. A wonderful stay and would absolutely stay again.

This was our first stay at Clarion Collection Hotel Kongsberg, and we were really impressed with the quality of food that was on offer. The evening meal was delicious, and there was a lot of hot and cold food to choose from at breakfast. We stayed in a really comfortable and spacious room. The only slightly negative point here was the pillows. The quality of the smaller pillows could be improved. The staff we met were very helpful and friendly. All in all, a very good experience, and we would be happy to return!

This is a beautiful new hotel not far away from the old town of Kongsberg. We were driving through on our way to Gardermoen Oslo Airport and decided to stay. The ride to the airport on the next day took us about 1.5 hours (on a weekend day.) The hotel is tastefully decorated and the room had all we needed. A comfortable bed, big TV screen, wifi, coffee/tea station, ironing equipment. The only thing that was missing was a working desk, but maybe that was because we ended up in a family room. The double, collapsible bunk bed looked very stylish and comfortable, Should be a good place to go with kids. The bathroom is smallish but modern, clean and functional. Soundproofing is great so we really had a good night´s sleep. Loved the breakfast and the decoration of the breakfast room. We went up to the gym which has a nice view over the town, but didn´t use it. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. There is underground parking which costs extra. Shops are a close walk away and if you have the time, do go for a walk to the old church over the bridge. It doesn´t take long and the area is quite pretty.

Modern rooms, comfortable bed, nice and decorative public areas. Good selection at breakfast. Also offers a complimentary evening meal (one day we had chicken, the other white fish). Friendly staff, some who knows the area better than others, but for leisure there’s not too much to do in downtown Kongsberg. The city probably doesn’t count on tourism as there are no buses that run to the silver mines on weekends, for instance, but the hotel was superb in arranging a ride. There’s a bar next to the reception, relaxed atmosphere. Also a bar at the great rooftop terrace. No Norwegian beers on tap. Prices start at 98NOK. If going to Kongsberg again, I would definitely stay here.
