Stayed 2 nights at the hotel with family for a marriage function at a nearby place. Check-in was seamless and the entrance lobby was spacious. The rooms were good and the windows were opening toward open space. Though it was an air-conditioned hotel, due to ill health i wanted to use the ceiling fan but strangely it functions only at full speed as there was no speed regulator installed! the front office assured help but no response thereafter. Similarly, i wanted hot water for drinking due to ill health which they provided at first, but later in the night & morning, they denied saying room service is closed which i found very mean reasoning. I requested a kettle which initially they refused by saying the room i opted for doesn't have such a facility! eventually, they provided one on the second day for which i am thankful. Coming to the food, the masala dosa they provided in the breakfast was so ill-prepared that it felt like the first dosa they made for the day had a bad il smell & lots of burned food with black layers over it. The soup i had was overdone with spices and thus spoiled. The food other family member had at the restaurant was said to be good. The front office has to be proactive in nullifying customer complaints in a reasonable time. Overall the experience was average for us and their rent is found on the higher side given the location which was far away from trivandrum city.
