Von den Zimmer im Hide Away Guest House hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf die Lagune. Die Inhaber sind sehr bemüht und geben gute Tipps für Besichtigungen, Restaurants. Insbesondere der Tipp für unsere Weiterfahrt nach Hermanus die Route 62 zu nehmen war grandios. Wir haben uns dort vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt.

Dieses Guesthouse ist ein echtes Hideaway! Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen und hatte Glück, das Zimmer schon früher beziehen zu dürfen. Der historische Charme des Hauses hat mir sofort gefallen! Auch das Frühstück war prima und die Dame des Hauses hat netterweise sehr lang mit mir gemeinsam an der Straße auf meinen Transport gewartet (mit dem Bazbus angereist). Es bleiben beste Erinnerungen an einen viel zu kurzen Aufenthalt!

What an incredible place! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly smile. The decor is absolutely stunning, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed. Beautifully appointed rooms, so much so that I wished I could take it all home! The bed was comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, and the little thoughtful touches truly made us say, "Wow!" Every amenity I could need was provided, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Though we traveled for leisure, this hidden gem is also perfect for business travelers, with a well-equipped business centre that adds to its charm. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! A place well worth visiting and highly recommended.

Lovely host! Great to be given so much of her time and knowledge-made the stay so much better than a faceless hotel where we just get checked in. This is after all a guesthouse and not the Four Seasons! Meant too, that we did not wasted our limited time in the area because what we did was quality. We enjoyed a large room right by the pool with a splendid view. Good toiletries and nice robes! Breakfast a good balance between healthy and holiday treats if you succumb! Although we never had time to use it, the honesty bar and snacks is a great idea. Thank you.

We arrived about an hour early and the house managers very kindly said we could go ahead and check in. We were met at the car park with a lovely friendly greeting and the porter told us he’d take our bags to our room as it was available. (After lugging our bags around this was the most welcome greeting ever) Amazing start! Stunning views. Lovely room with super balcony. Excellent quality towels. Beautiful add Ons - water x2 every day, tea, biscuits and coffee, dressing gown. The guest house, as many reviews note, is just off the N2. After a few hours you don’t really pay heed to it and when in your room definitely can’t hear it. Colleen is amazing and has a wealth of fabulous information to make your stay so enjoyable. I loved having an old-fashioned map too. Great restaurants and beach recommendations. Felt really safe and comfortable. The pool is lovely and sunbeds relaxing. Breakfast is a delight. Cecil does a fabulous plate. Not rushed. Cooked to your choice. There is a lounge that has a lovely honours bar area. Very thoughtful. Staff are very welcoming. Laundry service fabulous. We stayed for a perfect 6 nights.

Super helpful friendly Colleen and Lesley were so welcoming friendly and helpful with suggesting day trips. The rooms are gorgeous and the comfiest beds in Africa! Breakfast is amazing. Lots to do in the area. Thanks so much for making our stay so special

What an idyllic place. The room was huge with a gorgeous view of the water. Lovely bed and great bathroom. Everything was modern and tasteful. Cecil and Colleen are marvellous and full of helpful info and interesting anecdotes. The breakfast is amazing too. We had a truly amazing stay and will most definitely be back.

Colleen and Cecil as the property managers made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. The room was huge with a massive bed and had every amenity you would wish for. The view over the water was amazing and the ccoked breakfast was fantastic. After 10 days of their hospitality, it felt sad to leave and would highly recommend this place and will certainly be back.

This is a really excellent located Guest House, overlooking the lagoon and the Knysna Heads. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Breakfast prepared to order. Colleen and Cecil made us very welcome and provided invaluable guidance on where to go and where to eat. we will be returning.
