Courtyard Knoxville West/Bearden

I missed the Knoxville event as my entire community was severely impacted by flooding. After notifying the hotel, I was advised that I would incur charges despite the circumstances. I requested management intervention and was transferred to an assistant, who refused to waive the fees. Upon asking for the General Manager's involvement, I was informed of her unavailability due to a vacation. An apology was offered, recognizing the situation's unfortunate nature, but the charges stood. This is pure greed. The assistant manager seems to get many calls like from The way it sounds. Upper management should be ashamed.

Arrived, no real greeting, no hello marriott rewards member greeting. Went to our room on the 5th floor, coming out of the elevator and hit with the stench of mold, urine...went to our room, same stale mildew and urine scent. Turned on the AC left for two hours came back, worse. Went down to see if we could change rooms and got a room on the second floor where the scent was not as noticeable, but still there...terrible stay all around.

Very clean. Great location. Staff was very nice. We stayed in a double bed/sleeper sofa room and it was perfect for a family of 5. Be aware the sleeper sofa is only big enough for one child, but it was perfect for us. We will stay again when we are in the area.

This is the best Courtyard Marriott, not only in Knoxville, but throughout the region! Special thanks to Krisa, Michael, Terri and the rest of this wonderful staff for providing great customer service to all of the guest during our stay!!!

Why are there no clocks in the rooms??? It is very frustrating to not be able to tell the time of day at any point without having to dig out a cell phone or some other device. If this is some kind of cost cutting exercise it is pathetic. PUT THE CLOCKS BACK!!!!

The second Courtyard Marriott I stayed on a long road trip. It seems like all Courtyard Marriotts have moved to the Starbucks+bistro in the lobby, so again, no free food options (coffee maker in the room). Convenient, but be prepared to pay starbucks and hotel prices. While the room was set up the same as all the Courtyard Marriotts, and looked like it had been updated recently, it still seemed a little dingy and dinged up. Hard flooring, which is always cleaner feeling to me. Not a ton of counterspace in the bathroom, though a big sink. In shower large toiletry bottles (Shampoo, conditioner, body wash). The room did have wash cloths, which is becoming rarer. Staff were friendly. Little market area by the front desk if you needed additional toiletries or some snacks. I am not sure where the hotel dedicated parking was, there were a few spots to the front and side (I ended up parking by a dumpster), but since it is in sort of an office park, it wasn't really clear where the hotel parking was. Some places to eat within walking distance.

This hotel has excellent customer service. Dakota the front desk supervisor is second to none! Justin, the night auditor was so kind and housekeeping staff was amazing! The hotel is as clean as can be. The beds sleep comfortably and water pressure is great! We will be back often to visit our daughter who lives in Knoxville!

Great location; safe parking. Courtyard seating is great to sit out in to relax. Did not buy food/ drinks in bistro but looked very nice. Only real issue was lots of hair ( from different people) in shower- yuk. Small frig and pretty new carpet. We would return but make sure you check the shower!

We were in Knoxville for the UTK football game. The staff was very courteous and responsive. I want to pass high praise for Sylvia in housekeeping. She is so polite and greeted us with a smile. We had a double-queen room and it was spacious and clean. There is plenty of dining choices close by. The hotel is only 10 minutes from campus and is half the price of downtown hotels. Will definitely recommend to others and will stay here again.
