My vegan friend and I stayed here whilst walking Offa's Dyke, so we arrived weary with very muddy boots. We were soon cosy by the fire, being served tea and cake, surrounded by books and a piano to tinkle on! Liz and Andrew were gracious, welcoming hosts; friendly without being intrusive. Morning tea was left outside our bedroom door, with a discreet knock, before we descended for breakfast with apple juice pressed from their own apples, and homemade jam and marmelade. Vegan and carnivore were both well catered for with the full breakfast! The house itself is beautiful, as is the garden, and it's a short walk downhill into the village for evening meal and pub. There's an interesting church across the road, and you're right on the Offa's Dyke route. I would love to return.
