High Five Inn by OYO Killeen

Let's start with the positives. The hotel was well painted and accepted pets. The room was horribly maintained. The air conditioner was broken. The place where the on/off button should have been was just a hole with wires. Half of the towels appeared dirty, looked liked someone wiped their cars with them. One lamp was just a bare bulb..no lampshade. The other lamp had a shade but was all bunged up. The credenza under the TV was in such deplorable condition, I've seen better stuff dumped at the side of the road. Missing a door, bottom all gouged up and the 2 drawers were jammed all cattywampus. Couldn't close or open either drawer. It looked like someone spray painted some items on one shelf. Covers over light fixtures and smoke detectors were missing. There was a holder screwed into the wall for a hairdryer but no hairdryer. The bed was so close to the closet, the door would barely open. It didn't matter anyway, THERE WAS NO ROD IN THE CLOSET. When I spoke to the desk clerk about the poor condition of the room and showed her the towels, she replied that people tear up the room and they are not responsible for the damage. I asked, "Who is responsible for the rooms then?" She said, "I just work here."
