Stayed in a family room for two nights with my wife and daughter. We use this hotel about twice a year, sometimes as a family, sometimes just two of us and sometimes my wife goes with her friends. On every occasion so far it has been perfect for us. The rooms have been spacious and spotless. The decor and bathrooms are beautifully done to an exceptional standard. As the hotel has taken on some neighbouring properties each room we have stayed in has been different but individually styled. I have particularly liked the two rooms we have stayed in at Virginia Lodge next door, with the most recent stay there being last week. There is an excellent restaurant in the property which we always use and a separate bar with regular live music. The atmosphere in the bar is great. Again, not to be missed. Best to last however and that is the staff! Every member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Beata who handled my accommodation and restaurant bookings, along with barman Eugene were stand out members of staff. Another great stay, hope to be back soon!!!!!

Great value, excellent clean, modern & spacious rooms. Right in the center of Kildare with easy access to M7 and Dublin. Only 45 minutes from Dublin airport. Had a small problem, that was efficiently resolved by the hotel manager - always a sign of a well run hotel.

Staff extremely kind, we dealt with Beata and Barbara. We were unfortunate with our room, no 41, as it was right beside the entrance and was quite noisy with other guests arriving late into Saturday night,Sunday morning. This is my only complaint though, room itself good, bed pillows and shower very good.

Second time staying in this hotel. Lovely hotel. Food is amazing and staff are lovely (one rude manager Dave). Would recommend this hotel and Beata wherever you are paying her give her a rise!!!! Lovely lady she is definitely the face of the hotel.

From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond to make us feel like special guests!! The accommodations that were on the Kildare Square were so convenient to eating establishments, shopping, museums, and taxi's are readily available. My husband and I visited the Horse Racetrack and we caught a free shuttle on the square to get there and back. Every meal at the restaurant at Silken Thomas was outstanding and the adjoining pub was lively and fun and even showed American football one evening. Our room was just perfect for us. Thank you Dave and his wife for the great hospitality and Ryan in the bar was good fun to chat with. We will definitely visit again!! I highly recommend

Great experience. Sean and Beata go above and beyond to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable. Very comfortable beds, lovely room in Virginia lodge, convenient location and their own free parking add to the experience. I would stay here again.

Just an overnight stay. We've a 'big' wedding next year and wanted to visit Kildare Village shopping. Silken Thomas had a 10% Discount Card with our booking. Firstly, great comms with the team. We were going to be too early to check-in but they confirmed we could call in and get the Discount Card and the Car Park pass. Spent the afternoon shopping 🛍️! Called back in later to check-in and quickly shown to our room (#20). Spotless, very spacious room, the most comfortable beds, tea/coffee. Weird artwork 😂 - loved it. The bathroom was huge. Very jealous of the walk-in shower. Lots of beautifully soft towels and soaps/shower gel. We had dinner later downstairs in the Library. Beautiful dining room. Great range on the menu, serving was quick, and the food was excellent. So, plus points - your staff are the most pleasant, friendly and accommodating people. If there's an in-house training/recruitment programme - patent it. Negative - we had only booked for one night. That's on us 😖. Thanks

Fabulous 2 night stay at the Silken Thomas. Staff are incredible and food is really good. Room was perfect, beautifully decorated, really comfortable bed and super clean. Parking available at the hotel. Very close to shopping outlets in Kildare village. Highly recommend.

What a fab hotel in the heart of Kildare Village. The staff were so nice especially in the lounge where you check in. The rooms just lovely. We had a triple room with bunk beds which my children loved. Food very good and only minutes from Kildare Village. Really loved Kildare town also. Totally recommend this hotel.
