The Laureate Key West

房間的色調非常美，窗外隔一條路就是大海，景色很美，晚上也並不吵。有一個小客廳（帶沙發床）和廚房，廚房用品齊全，很實用。有免費的停車位，離超市也很近。打車去熱門的景點（海明威故居之類的）也就十幾美金。唯一晚上的被子很薄，類似於一張毯子，有點冷，需要問酒店要額外的被子。但總的來説很滿意，下次應該還會來。

酒店位置/設施/服務都很滿意，自帶泳池，房間佈局合理，廳房分隔在廚房兩側，還有海景；廚房設備和用品上檔次又好用，一應俱全，我們待了兩晚，非常難忘，包括離開的早上keywest的區域大停電，謝謝後續Alberto的溝通協助。

Although the hotel is labeled as a resort, it’s lacking resort style features such as hot tub, workout facilities, on site restaurants and poolside bar. They also charge you a daily “resort fee” and tell you it covers parking and Wi-Fi. It is about 3 miles from the main tourists areas so it’s quieter but that does require daily trips to those locations. There are other methods to get down there but the hotel doesn’t offer anything for that. Our room, 201, was a king suite and it’s nice. However, this room has a leak somewhere that causes water to pool on the floor and it’s bad enough to get under the flooring. Discovered this on the 2nd night of our stay while making a late night restroom trip. Stepped in a big puddle of water. Called the front office and they said they would send someone in the morning. Guy came, shut off something under the sink and thought that was the reason. It wasn’t the AC because the pan was dry and the pipes were also dry. The leak continued throughout the stay so we had to use towels from the pool to stem the flow from the AC closet, as that’s where the water was coming from. We used about three towels a day and replaced when they were soaked through. Seems like they should’ve moved us, comp’d us or something because of all of this?

After visiting this hotel over a year ago, I recommended my brother and his family to book their vacation there. I am embarrassed I did that. They arrived to the hotel and when been asked to put a credit card deposit, the front desk lady stated that they will not accept any other card other than the one they booked the hotel with which is a first to me. When they asked to talk to a supervisor to resolve the issue the front desk lady told them that nobody can help them and she is the only one (it was not after hours or anything) My brother had to go with the whole family, included a 4 months old baby and bring cash and been charged another $100 since it's a new reservation. On top of that they charged them $20 for internet when it's supposed to be free. Overall rude staff for not the best hotel and over priced. Book your vacation with any of the chain hotels where you will get better service.

My mom and I booked a girls getaway trip and chose The Laurete since I’ve had wonderful experiences at other Opal properties. Our room had a strong smell that wouldn’t go away. I spoke with a desk girl to change rooms but she gave me a can of room spray instead. The odor persisted and we realized we couldn’t stay in that room. We were able to get another room but with some reluctance on the hotel’s part. Our second room was clean with a nice view of the pool. It’s not a peaceful place to stay and relax. The noise from the highway outside was loud.We also saw cockroaches every day in our kitchen area by the coffee pot. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay because of the above listed conditions. If you don’t have a car you can pick an expensive trolley ticket but then it’s a walk on a 4 lane highway to get to the stop. They only run until 4:30.

We loved this place. Great location and when we walked into our room, we felt that we made a wonderful choice to stay here. The view was amazing. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. They were also very helpful and took care of all our needs.
