Zentrale Lage in Kandy aus der Kolonialzeit . Leider ist von dem Flair der alten Zeit nicht viel übrig geblieben. Teilweise saniert jedoch ohne auf den Stil und den Erhalt des schönen zu achten . Die Fotos der Zimmer bei *********** sehen besser aus als das was man tatsächlich vorfindet. Abends kann man schön draußen sitzen und sich am Buffet bedienen . Highlight ist die Grill Station , leider sind die „ Köche „ jedoch keine erfahrenen griller. Das Frühstücksbüffet bietet eine gute Auswahl . Beliebt bei Einheimischen und Gruppen

Das Zimmer ist sauber und komfortabel. Der Hall und der Pool sind sehr komfortabel und können den ganzen Tag bleiben! Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, es gibt einen See neben dem Hotel und eine kleine Bergsteige. Am Morgen erhoben sich und hörte die Vogel singen, richtig, es gibt viele Schnecken 😄

Overall stay in radisson kandy was pretty pleasant and comfortable. Room was very clean and presentable. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the dining hall was spacious and the food was tasty with a variety of dishes. Roof top restaurants have a good variety of dishes with swimming pool and very view of skyline with visible kandy lake, buddha temples, mountains etc. Staff was very pleasant and ready to help for any requirements. Only was the availability of drinking water. Supplied only 2 bottles of 500 ml each and water cooler/ dispenser not available and guest had to buy additional water bottles at very high cost (compared to market rate. Hotel management can have a look at an issue of availability of drinking water. Otherwise the overall hotel stay was pleasant/ satisfying.

In der Stadt Canti, am Bergoberste. Die Straße auf den Berg, aber nach dem Eintritt ins Hotel fand ich kleine und wunderschöne, die Menschen waren sehr lecker, das Restaurant ist im Canti-Tal und die Landschaft war großartig. Es ist wert, die Service-Einstellung zu präsentieren: Wir haben ein Kind mitgebracht, im Grunde alle Hotels mit zusätzlichen Kosten von 15-20 Messer. Aber hier sind wir entschuldigt und haben ein Kind Frühstück geschickt. Besonders hervorhebenswert ist das Abendbuffet. Ich wollte nur einen Punkt anbieten, der Manager hat sich mehrmals geregelt, und ich habe die Selbsthilfe nach einer gewissen Stimmung, die sie nicht in Schwierigkeiten bringt, gezielt geholfen, und es wurde eine unerwartete Überraschung gefunden. Es .... Es ist wirklich sehr lecker. Besonders nach einem wenigen Tag langen, unverschämten, fünf-Sterne-Buffet ist es eine Überraschung. - Aber das ist nichts. Die Fotos wurden nicht verarbeitet, das Licht ist nicht sehr gut, eigentlich besser als die Fotos.

Das Hotel liegt auf dem Hügel und das Auto ist nicht gut. Der Balkon ist sehr schön. Die Einrichtungen sind recht neu, heißes Wasser reicht, aber nicht sehr stabil. Es gibt einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Es dauert zwanzig Minuten, um das Stadtzentrum und den Buddha Tooth Relic Temple zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Wurst zum Frühstück ist lecker.

Fortunately, we cannot confirm the older reviews. Apparently the management has changed. Hot water and wifi are fine. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great. It is right opposite the famous ”Temple of the Tooth”. From some rooms (unfortunately only a few) you have a direct view! Rooms without a direct view of the temple can use an extra shared balcony. The hotel's restaurant also has a beautiful view of the temple. That's really great. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the city. However, we still preferred to take the tuk tuk. Communication with the manager was very friendly and he helped us several times with problems. Many, many thanks.

Ein tolles Hotel, alles passt. Freundliches Personal, ein Haus das mit viel Aufmerksamkeit für Details gemacht wurde, eine Küche die ihresgleichen sucht. So könnte man das zusammenfassen. Leider waren wir nur für 3 Übernachtung dort, welche von der Terrasse aus zu sehen ist, so schön. Ich habe 2 Zimmer gebucht. Gut, dass das Hotel etwas oberhalb liegt, denn Kandy kann recht laut sein und nachts sehr schön. Fazit: ein herrlicher Ort zum verweilen, gerne und jederzeit wieder.

My reason for giving this a 5 star review is because of the location of the hotel and the wonderful staff who work there, so accommodating and friendly. They simply couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable. The room we had was a homage to the hotels grand past with wood paneled dressing rooms. We did chuckle when we read the warning sign not to open our bedroom window because of the threat of monkeys. This place is the perfect base for exploring central Sri Lanka

BPR Asgiriya is a hidden gem in the busy city of Kandy. The location is great. 5 minutes drive to Dalada Maligawa. The rooms are very clean and spacious. They have family suites with adjoining bedrooms and are ideal if you are traveling with grown kids. Food was delicious and they were able to provide us with everything we requested. Mr. Gihan, Mr. Saman, and all the other staff were extremely helpful and made our stay a wonderful experience. Mr. Gihian assisted us from day 1 even before we made the reservation by providing us with all the details and answering all of our questions. We will definitely go back there and recommend BPR to our friends who are planning to visit Sri Lanka.

Vor kurzem hier geblieben für 2 Nächte absolut liebte es,klein Hotel in der Nähe des oberen Hügels,mit schönem Blick große komfortable Zimmer mit großem Balkon,wir haben nicht gegessen im Hotel, aber das Essen sah gut aus, Frühstück war ok, Sehr schönes Personal und vernünftiges Zimmer.Nur ein Restaurant Spazierweiterung ein chinesischer/burger , zu hoch für Sri Lanka, aber anständiges Essen mit erstaunlichen Ansichten ....
